Tea Partiers Heckle Cops At White House Yelling ‘Gestapo!’ ‘Brown Shirts!’
The fine, upstanding patriots who protesting at Washington, DC memorials ganged up on police at the White House calling them names like “Gestapo,” “Brown Shirts,” and “Stasi.” They also yelled that the security unit “looked like something out of Kenya.” These Tea Partiers have been making public displays about how much they love Americans serving in uniform, but that, apparently, doesn’t extend to police uniforms.
The so-called “Million Vet March” demonstration was attended by at least some non-veterans, including Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT), and was marked by the flying of a Confederate flag at the White House. In this video, which records the arrival of the police, then documents the confrontation in extreme closeup, you can hear more of what the crowd shouts at the police, including “You work for us!”
