Virginia Mom Says Son’s KKK Halloween Costume Was ‘Family Tradition’
The boy said he wanted to wear it because it was “cool.” The mother says it’s more than that: It’s a family tradition.
The 7-year-old boy’s mother, Jessica Black, defended the get-up as ‘family tradition’ and said she warned him ahead of time that many would not approve of the attire. She also defended the KKK’s ‘stance’ that ‘It’s supposed to be white with white, black with black, man with woman,’ and praised the group for raising money for a St. Jude hospitals.
