George Zimmerman Arrested
The man who killed Trayvon Martin was arrested in Florida when police responded to a disturbance call.
It was not immediately clear what Zimmerman was accused of, but a statement by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said he was being transported to a county jail in Sanford, Florida.
Seminole County Sheriff spokeswoman Kim Cannaday could not be immediately reached for comment.
In September, Zimmerman was questioned by police after his estranged wife called 911 saying he threatened her with a gun. He was not charged in the incident, which occurred a week after she had filed for divorce.
