Fan Attacks Rival Basketball Coach’s Wife At Basketball Game
Some people take sports a bit too seriously. And this is just on the high school level. It was a girls’ basketball game between McNail and St. Mary’s in Stockton, CA.
St. Mary’s girl’s basketball coach Tom Gonzalves (pictured) is still in shock after what he describes as a brutal attack on his wife.
“I’ve been coaching for a long time, and it’s one of the worst things I’ve ever seen,” he said. “She was covering herself up, and the lady was like, bam bam, and I saw two hits.”
During a heated rivalry game, Gonzalves says a woman rooting for McNail started throwing punches.
Police are investigating, but there have been no arrests.
