It Didn’t Take Long: Priebus Already Dancing On Sebelius’s Political Grave
The Republican National Committee, immediately upon the resignation of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, put out a hit piece on her career signed by Chairman Reince Priebus:
“Secretary Sebelius oversaw a disastrous rollout of ObamaCare, but anyone can see that there are more problems on the way. The next HHS Secretary will inherit a mess—Americans facing rising costs, families losing their doctors, and an economy weighed down by intrusive regulations. No matter who is in charge of HHS, ObamaCare will continue to be a disaster and will continue to hurt hardworking Americans. It’s time for President Obama to admit that Democrats’ signature law is a failure and heed Republican calls for patient-centered healthcare reform.” – RNC Chairman Reince Priebus
First of all, unless Republican get it through their skulls that Obamacare is here to stay, and that if they have any specifics on how to improve the law they need to state them, they are going nowhere as a political party. And let’s not forget that the last time there was a Republican in the White House he left amid the haze of an economic collapse. And if you think President Obama is going to take the advice of Reince Priebus and declare his signature law a failure, I’ve got a bridge in New Jersey to sell you.
