Man Upset With 22-Cent Soda Tax Pulls Out Machine Gun
Who wouldn’t want to mow down a store clerk with machine gun bullets when asked to pay the full price of a soda?
Nahshon X. Shelton wasn’t happy at all about it. Court records allege that Shelton got mad at the store clerk, saying that since he was a resident of that neighborhood, he was “tax-exempt.”
He then left, but soon returned, and he was not happy.
Shelton returned to the store around 1:45 p. m. carrying a Gucci satchel, from which he pulled out a loaded gun, according to Savaglio and court records. He began waving the gun around “while yelling that he was going to shoot and kill everyone in the store,” according to court records.
“I’m going to shoot you in the head three times!” he said, according to court records.
