By scarce May 8, 2014 10:24 am – Comments On Tuesday, Trey Gowdy was chosen by John Boehner to lead the select committee on yet more Benghazi hearings. By Wednesday, Gowdy was already giving away the game. Dana Milbank caught this “telling slip” yesterday…

slow-walking document production is teabonics for ‘If I Admit to reading any of AG Holder’s long ago produced Evidence Links debunking all GOP TV fantasies, then fewer & fewer midterm voters will believe republiklan dishonesty de jour.
Here’s another perfect opportunity for Larry Klayman’s dozen moron march wallowing in granny Grizzly’s brilliance with Cruz, Randal Paul, Lee & Rubio in tow worshiping their favorite religious idol the Dixie swastika. While threatening to tear down the Obama White House gates and burn a cross on their lawn. This is brilliant ‘outreach messaging’ for today’s 90% white GOP.

They already have a stack of documents over 8 feet tall. And they want more? The only reason the latest e-mail/memo was produced was because it was asked for. Issa didn’t ask for it, as it doesn’t apply to Benghazi. It was about unrest in the Middle East, with Benghazi only mentioned on the third page near the bottom.

I would assume there are strategies to blunt an aggressive prosecutor. One might be to totally ignore the committee and have a nightly synopsis of their daily BS ready for the press.
Also, dig up some dirt on this pin-head…there has to be some, after all he is a teabagger.

Hillary is the strategy. She’s been a lawyer longer than him, and she’s been through worse.

Seems pointless, Democrats and Republicans have already decided the issue based on political concerns.

I say let them go ahead with their show. Death panels, fema camps, birth certificates, the welfare rancher, Sarah Palin, and the countless other embarrassing causes of the right, are not only amusing, but helpful.

so the best Americans can hope for should Republicans gain control of the 3 branches again is endless wars with endless investigations as to how the Hawaiian became POTUS 2X???
wow, and I thought maybe this time around there might possibly be a choice.
VOTE DEMOCRAT!

-and let’s not forget the Republican Congress now refers to criminal trials as ‘investigations’ – possibly because none have resulted in an actual trial?

Freud would seem to have invented his “slip” for a geek like this, someone who ran for office on Tea Potty money (handed out by the Koch Cabal, via Rove et al.) I should think he spends two hours a day on grooming, and not in the beauty parlor but his own bathroom. Note that his hair never looks the same way twice. If he had any real acting talent he would be doing walk on’s in Hollywood. His betrayal of the ulterior motive of the hearings reminds me of a German professor I had in college who told us not to write thesis papers the way pedants “at home” would have: take the thesis by the hand and eliminate all evidence contrary to what you seek to prove. The only saving grace to Demo participation in this farce is that they get to make speeches themselves, for what passes as investigation in these hearings is really ideological shadow boxing. We already know the result since it has been proved against the Republitards several times already. Why didn’t they talk George W. Bush into spending more on the diplomatic outposts?
