Operation American Spring Promises To Drive Obama From Office Friday

“Patriots” will descend on Washington, D.C. Friday, purportedly to drive President Obama and errant lawmakers from office.

“We are calling for the removal of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi, and Eric Holder as a start toward constitutional restoration,” said retired Army Col. Harry Riley, leader of the Operation American Spring protest group. “They have all abandoned the US Constitution, are unworthy to be retained in a position that calls for servant status.”

Operation American Spring aims to pressure those lawmakers who remain – or are replaced by officials of their own choosing – “to sponsor and pass very Constitutionally crafted State legislation to dissolve the size, powers, scope and spending of the U.S. Government by 2/3rds.”

The activists say they expect 10 million to 30 million like-minded Americans to join them Friday in the nation’s capital for a rally patterned after Occupy Wall Street and “Arab Spring” protests…

Operation American Spring spokesman Terry Trussell told the “Patriot Nation” radio program that he feared Obama would order drone strikes on protesters, and host Mark Hoffman suggested participants bring emergency supplies and make other preparations in case of violence.

Riley told Before It’s News that his group does not want violence, but he admits that peaceful solutions have thus far proved ineffective.

    Any bets? They say 10 to 30 million.

    I’m saying 100. Tops. All old. None in the least bit threatening.

    They’ll walk around a little, holding signs. There will be more park police than there will be protesters.

    Because like all these so-called “patriots,” they are pussies.

    These cranks actually believe that 10million people are going to show up to remove a twice-elected President from office?

    It will not be 10million. It will not be 1million. As Bill said, maybe a 100 or so. And I hope to god that for those 100, they will see exactly how difficult it is to find a parking space in DC. Icing on the cake will be that almost everyone of those spots is taken by a car with an Obama sticker on it. The President carried almost 90% of the vote in my old hometown.

    Hey righties, be nice and maybe, I will call some friends and family in DC and get you a good deal on short term parking in my sister’s front yard, only $75 for the first hour and $50 per hour after that, no maximum.

    Ain’t capitalism wonderful..

      My bid is 40 people. Larry Klayman, who also showed up at the White House a few months ago for the same reason, had about 20 people with him. So I’ll double it. The thing is, if you’re planing for a huge protest type of deal you really should plan this months in advance. This is the first I’ve heard of it.

    I’ve stocked up on the popcorn and Coronas and plan to spend the day on the lanai with the laptop. I hope it’s live blogged so I can LMFAO. At least 50 or 60 will have to show for the circus to start and I don’t want to fall asleep waiting for something to happen. (BTW, does this guy have any concept of how many people 10 million is, and that’s before adding it to the already dense DC population.)

    My fundamentalist neighbor believes that Obama will start a civil war with this event because he will need to call out the entire military to defend himself. Yes, you read that correctly. Obama is to blame if any violence occurs. I told him I thought it would be a good thing, that Obama had every right to do so if needed. He thinks it’s a power grab on Obama’s part. Mind you, nothing has happened, but Obama is doing a power grab because of this “Patriots” event. I seriously need to stop talking politics with this conservative … Either that or just start laughing.

    retired Army Col. Harry Riley – no doubt the foremost expert on US Constitutional matters?- should be required to recite his oath to the United States of America before entrance into the emerald city is allowed. Traffic is bad enough without adding another 10 to 30 million, thank you very much.

    Meanwhile, it was revealed that the Obama administration has released some 36,000 CONVICTED illegals into the general population. The next time one of your loved ones gets killed by a previously convicted illegal drunk driver or is raped by one of them you can thank your hero Obama.
