Rick Perry: Homosexuality Is Like Alcoholism: You Can ‘Decide Not To Do That’
Outgoing Texas governor and 2016 presidential hopeful Rick Perry was speaking at San Francico’s Commonwealth Club where he was asked about gay “reparative therapy.”
“Whether or not you feel compelled to follow a particular lifestyle or not, you have the ability to decide not to do that,” Perry replied. “I may have the genetic coding that I’m inclined to be an alcoholic, but I have the desire not to do that, and I look at the homosexual issue the same way.”
According to those present, the comment elicited some murmurs from the audience.

How do you know the governor is straight? For years everybody thought Rock Hudson was straight because he was “married”. For all we know, Rick and well-known southern belle, Lindsey Graham may be having a torrid affair.
