Rick Santorum Didn’t Really Mean ‘It’s Fun’ To ‘Bang The President’
No, he really didn’t mean it that way. But, it is fun!
Speaking at the Iowa State GOP Convention this weekend, the socially conservative got himself in a frothy mess of unintentional comedy when he told the crowd: “Look, I understand why campaigns and all of you want to go out and just bang the president. It’s fun. I mean, it’s fun. It’s easy. It’s getting easier every day.”
The crowd (including the cameraman, as you’ll hear…) laughed at Santorum’s remark, though very likely not with him, as he earnestly listed off the ways in which you can “bang” the president.
