Racist Anti-Immigrant Bigots Terrorize Buses Of Immigrant Children
Sam Seder has a justified rant about this on his Majority Report (via Crooks and Liars). A bunch of fearful, white, anti-immigrant shouters surrounded three buses, worried that the children inside would ruin America.
As the LA Times reported:
A crowd of 200 to 300 people in downtown Murrieta surrounded three buses carrying immigrant detainees Tuesday afternoon, causing the buses to turn around before they reached a Border Patrol station in the Riverside County city.
Waving Americans flags and protest signs, the crowd refused to give way when the buses arrived with some 140 detainees from Texas, which has seen a flood of Central American immigrants cross the border in recent weeks without legal permission.
A small number of Murrieta police officers stood between the protesters and the buses but could not keep the crowd from blocking the buses’ path.

Hey Alan, just how many of these kids have you decided to take into YOUR home? Enough is enough! We as a nation are dead broke and cannot even afford to take care of our own citizens, yet you want to just keep letting people into the country who have no visible means of support. This insanity must stop and it’s time we take the first step and secure OUR national border with military forces, and then maybe we can deal with the rest of the illegal immigration problem.

Do you know it is at minimum a 20 year wait for people coming from south and central America to just get a resident card. It is not the same for them as it was when ever your ancestors came here without having to ask years ahead of their getting on the boat.

Did you know that if the USA were to pay off all of its debt (US treasuries) that the financial system of the entire world would be hobbled and possibly crash. Most interest paying financial instruments are based on US Treasury Bonds and other sovereign paper. These kids unlike folks from Mexico or Canada are processed differently and for the most part treated as refuges. They are for the most part sent here to meet their families that have already established themselves. The most expeditious, cheapest and humane way to deal with this is to process them via human services and then place them with their families. That is precisely what they were in the process of doing before the gap toothed flag waving mouth breathers interrupted.

As to the bigger issue of printing money. in 1919 the weimar republic tried this in the 1920’s eventually it took a bushel basket of bank notes to buy a postage stamp, Brazil tried it in the 70’s and had 700% annual inflation. Zimbabwe tried it in the 80’s and was eventually issuing trillion dollar bank notes
