According to authorities, a 29-year-old man shot his parents after arguing with them at a Greenville County, South Carolina home, then turned the gun on himself.

Deputy Coroner Kent Dill said Cedric Jenkins appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound around 7:15 p.m. on Friday. His parents were also wounded, but are expected to survive, the Associated Press reports.

According to deputies, Jenkins and his parents had a disagreement before the shooting. They did not say what the argument was about and no other details were offered at this point.

Could it possibly have been about Bob Evans or KFC for dinner?

Regardless of the topic, once again a gun was used to in anger to settle an argument – not for protection.

And once again you desire to deny the right of people to protect themselves with a gun just because someone else misused theirs.

I must have missed that in her statement care to point out where she mentioned taking or denying someone a firearm?

Clearly Carla said, “BAN ALL GUNS!”

You can live in your delusions but you can not make other people live in your delusions. It does matter what you say or think, your delusions will always be yours and can not be imposed on others.

Why is the request to hold so called responsible gun owners responsible constantly met with this ridiculous claim of wanting to take guns away? This story has nothing to do with the gun owners ability to protect themselves, as the story proves the person legally owned a gun. The problem is that if people like you and me (gun owners) are going to demand that we have our right to own then the society that we live in has the right to demand that we are responsible and when we are not then they have a right to ask that the laws impose some type of punishment. Again, this story is about an individual that showed bad judgment and negligence with the ownership of a firearm and as the story proves, resulted in danger to an innocent person.

Currently it is in vogue for the mouth breathers to exchange tales of the President “coming to git yer gun”. My response is “so what legislation has the President signed to limit your right to have a gun?”. The response you’ll get is precisely the same you will see right after showing a cocker spaniel a card trick.

Please explain (because we ALL want to hear this) how Carla’s posting in any way possible could be construed by anyone (except an idiot) as an attempt to deny anyone the right to self defense.

I guess when your parents finally give you an ultimatum you are going to have to stop playing video games, move out of their basement, and get a job some people just go off the deep end.
