‘Selfie’ With Gun Ends In Predictable Way
Kids these days. So self-obsessed they need to take pictures of everything!
Gun nuts these days. Treating weapons like a pet to be stroked, cuddled and shown off to friends and neighbors.
When the Venn diagram of these two groups are drawn we may see this unfortunate 21 year old Mexico City man smack dab in the middle. That’s because his decision to mix an obsession with guns with his need to create a perpetual stream of “selfies” ended in tragedy.
Twenty-one-year-old Oscar Otero Aguilar from Mexico City had been snapped in images posted on his Facebook Page in front of fast cars, sitting on expensive motorbikes, hugging beautiful women and even posing in a band. But the man’s endless search for the most impressive snaps ended when he borrowed a gun and decided to take some pics on his mobile phone as he waved it around…
Neighbour Manfredo Paez Paez, 57, told local media: “I heard a gunshot, and then I heard somebody screaming and realised somebody had been hurt. I called the police straight away and when they arrived they found that he was still alive.”
Medics were quickly called out but the young man died on the way to hospital in an ambulance.

Where did he get the gun? This shouldn’t have happened at all as Mexico has severe restrictions on people owning firearms. I guess like in Chicago, extreme gun control just does not work.
