Anonymous Declares Cyber War In Israel; Downs Mossad Site
Hacker Anonymous downed not only the site of Mossad, the country’s intelligence agency, but also other key government sites.
Anonymous has launched a full-frontal assault on the Israeli government’s web presence over recent events in Gaza. It’s alleged that the attacks were sparked by the death of Tayeb Abu Shehada, 22, a Palestinian protestor shot wearing a Guy Fawkes mask.

Interesting.

So does this affect the early warning system Israelis have on their phones to alert them to incoming missile attacks? And if it does and people die, will Anonymous bear the responsibility for that?
M D Reese August 4th, 2014 at 11:23 am
If so, it will level the field a tiny tiny tiny bit.
R.J. Carter August 4th, 2014 at 11:28 am
Well the only reason Hamas hasn’t exterminated Israel is because they’ve been held back by superior tech and weaponry.
So I guess Anonymous has chosen which side they’re on. Welcome to the bullseye, Anonymous. Pissing off the Mossad is definitely an existence-limiting decision.

The amount of hate and ignorance directed right now at Israel from alleged progressives is baffling considering the country they’re so fiercely against has universal healthcare, universal college education, far more rights for gays than the United States, total equality for women. Israel is the most progressive country in Asia or the Middle East, but apparently, defending herself from relentless missile fire from terrorists who have declared war on her, who refuse to adhere to a cease-fire, is a-okay with many. That is some powerful ignorance of the geo-political history of this conflict and also this region. Go ahead, take the side of the religious extremists who treat women like chattel and want to install yet another extremist Islamic state closely aligned with Iran, as HAMAS already are. I agree R.J., I sure as hell would not make an enemy of MOSSAD.

killing thousands of Israeli civilians in a war declared on Israel by HAMAS is a “level playing field” for you?
mea_mark August 4th, 2014 at 9:44 am
I hope this encourages Israel to try harder to find a peaceful solution. War and killing should have a cost. Peace should provide rewards and returns. It is time for the people of Israel to take a new direction.
M D Reese August 4th, 2014 at 11:24 am
It won’t, and they won’t, but I agree with your sentiment.
mea_mark August 4th, 2014 at 11:38 am
Just don’t entirely kill my optimism and hope, I really want to have something to live for.
M D Reese August 4th, 2014 at 11:24 am
Maybe they can make the Israeli missiles act like boomerangs for a few days.
Jennifer Litton Tidd August 4th, 2014 at 4:41 pm
They don’t need boomerangs, unless you’re not paying attention, but HAMAS has fired over 2000 missiles into Israel in the last month alone. The difference being Israel has a missile defense system, but HAMAS allies haven’t helped HAMAS procure one for the Palestinians. They declared war on a far superior military power without first securing anti-missile weaponry?

No way I see for actions like these to help. Seems likely to contribute to more chaos. I would prefer to see the cease-fire succeed. Until both sides come to a lasting agreement the senseless & futile war will continue. For the sake of all…stop the killing!
In war, know one wins.
Israel has a definite advantage in terms of weaponry & protections for its citizens. Let the world hear them claim peace & willingness to negotiate.
If either nation is truly of God (which is Love) let this be their solution.
