This type of inflammatory, knee-jerk rhetoric contributes little to the debate.
Life is not a comic book, and it benefits no one to oversimplify a complex situation such as the one present in the Middle East. There is a long history of contempt and mistrust (much of it justifiable) on both sides.
Not everyone who supports Israel’s existence is a “Zionist extremist who hates all Palestinians” as some might phrase it. And not all who support the cause of the Palestinians are “anti-semitic Jew-haters”. It’s simply not that black and white.
Furthermore, one is not an anti-Semite simply for questioning the decisions and actions of the Israeli government, nor for suggesting that the U.S. State Department has at times taken an excessively dogmatic, non-pragmatic approach to Middle East diplomatic endeavors.
If this were the case, then a significant proportion of the Israeli Jewish population would need to be labeled as “anti-Semitic”, as they too have questioned the policies of their own government in its dealings with the Palestinians and the nation’s arab neighbors.
There are extremist elements in both camps, just as there are in all societies throughout the world. The key is to prevent the more extreme factions from controlling the policy-making in the society. Hopefully … eventually … the more moderate and rationally-thinking members of the Israeli and Palestinian governmental bodies will do some soul-searching and find the courage to reach a middle ground that will work in the best interests of both entities.
The extremists will not be pleased, but that is unavoidable.

One certainly finds that any reference to CAIR on right wing blogs is always accompanied by the fact that the group was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case against the Holy Land Foundation. Let no useful tools for religious bigotry go unused.
What you will not find, is the fact that there are numerous reasons for the designation of unindicted co conspirator. What you will not find is that the behavior which CAIR engaged in was legal at the time they engaged in said behavior, which was prior to the formal classification of Hamas as a terrorist organization.
What you will not find is the 2009 review of the case by the US Attorney in Texas who found no grounds for prosecution. What you will not find, is the fact that Rep. Peter King lied on national television claiming that the Justice Department and the Obama administration halted the investigation out of fear of offending Muslims.
What you will find is the “Pelosi Secret Muslim Fundraiser” storyline on some of the most virulently bigoted websites one can imagine. Make of that what you will.

Please bear in mind this video was posted on July 28, 2014, so we were already 3 weeks into this latest battle. By then most people paying attention had concluded the obvious, what the guys in Qatar were saying did not match with the Hamas, et. al. actions on the ground in Gaza. She was, at best, missinformed and at worse carrying water for the terrorists. If it’s the later then the whole “bitch” thing holds up, IMHO.
