Kansas Governor Sam Brownback threw out some red meat to his Republican-base while blaming President Obama for voters backing his challenger, Jennifer Winn.

“I think a big part of it is Barack Obama,” Brownback told KSHB. “That a lot of people are so irritated at what the president is doing, they just, they want somebody to throw a brick.”
Brownback does not believe there is a problem with a “right vs. right” scenario at all, but rather an electorate desperate to express their Obama-focused anger at just about anyone, including himself.

Brownback won the primary on Tuesday with 63.3 percent of the vote while Winn got 36.7 percent, which is a surprisingly low margin of victory for the tea party-favored Brownback given that it’s the Republican primary in deep red Kansas, TPM reports.

“I think it’s a lot of deep irritation with the way the president has taken the country. So much so that people are so angry about it they’re just trying to express it somehow,” Brownback remarked.

In short: “whatever it is I blame Obama. . . again.”

    Q: “It’s Obama’s fault that _______________________.”

A: we’re such assholes people won’t vote for us.

Breaking new ground with this one.

Do the talk radio hosts and viral emails which drive so much of right wing opinion ever call these guys out on this nonsense? Or are these folks so intellectually bankrupt that they look the other way while at the same time they condemn the President for not taking responsibility for anything.

Unless of course, it is the bin Laden mission, when he “took too much credit” by giving a 10 minute speech from the White House. Darn that Obama. He should have followed the example of his predecessor who in an historically unprecedented display of humility, swooped onto the deck of an aircraft carrier, all decked out in a spiffy flight suit.

Well at least he didn’t evoke imagery of a lynching party …

But as is the case with many of his conservative cohort, Brownback has demonstrated that he is incapable of accepting responsibility for his failures, weaknesses, and shortcomings.

Going ever deeper into the delusional realm of fringe politics, Gov. Brownback blames voters for his inability to get 95% of the extreme right wing vote.

Of COURSE it’s Obama’s fault! Just look at him! He’s not exactly George Wallace, y’know.

People are mad at Obama so they’re throwing bricks at Brownback? Sounds legit.

This guy sure is a model of conservatism…..Shining example of crazy.

So, let me think about this using Brownback’s logic. He’s saying that the 36.7% of the people who voted for Ms. Winn in the GOP primary thought they were voting against President Obama instead of against him?

Blameless self-delusion syndrome, yet another in a litany of GOP mental disorders.

It rained yesterday in Topeka , Brownback was to have a picnic, damn that Obama.

This from a guy that’s bankrupting his state. Proving yet again that trickle down economics doesn’t work.
