Dame Helen Mirren Twerks–Again
There is nothing like watching a sophisticate twerk.
Dame Helen had some regrets about her mesmerizing performance during a game of charades at Harvard—mainly, that she felt she hadn’t twerked to her full potential.
“It wasn’t very good,” she told USA Today. “I can twerk better than that. But I was more than embarrassed. I was absolutely mortified.”
She got her chance earlier this week on Live With Kelly and Michael, and the sequel was at least as good as the original. But if Dame Helen feels she hasn’t perfected her technique, she should definitely keep practicing anywhere there are cameras.

God, she’s funny. Turns out she can act a bit, too.
In one of my favorite Mirren Moments, Dame Helen showed up for her interview with Patt Morrison, who has a thing for hats, on PBS back in the “Prime Suspect” days, wearing a very proper hat of her own. Classy!

Love the Dames – all of them are classy, talented ladies. Been loving Dame Diana Rigg on Game of Thrones, too. She was my first crush way back when the Avengers were on TV. Also, one of the first “powerful” women who taught me they could be STRONG and SEXY! Peace!

I know this is irrational but in my book Helen Mirren can DO NO WRONG.
She even makes something as silly as “twerking” look classy.
