John McCain says the rise of ISIS is Obama’s fault. And, yet, a picture circulating on the Internet purports to be a selfie of McCain and his ISIS pals. It’s complicated.

The shots were taken in Syria last year, when McCain made a secret trip into that civil-war-torn country to meet with leaders of one of the rebel groups that the Arizona senator believes the U.S. should support.

After the trip, McCain released the photos to the U.S. media and discussed his experience in Syria, calling for United States military intervention on behalf of rebels there attempting to overthrow the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

[Some websites] claim that these same Syrian rebels have since gone on to join ISIS and are now waging brutal civil war inside Iraq. But the fact is, there is no way to directly connect the people posing in the photo with John McCain to ISIS — though ISIS itself does claim to represent rebel forces in Syria as well as in Iraq. There has also been no independent confirmation that ISIS is actually circulating the photos of McCain itself.

On the other hand, it is not surprising that John McCain would support U.S. military intervention against ISIS on one hand and for the Syrian rebels on the other. John McCain has a long history of calling for U.S. military intervention in conflicts all over the world.

While the sources for this claim (or the claim itself) are not specified, there is not a battle or war in the world where McCain thinks the US should not intervene.

This is true, and even though he stated that he wanted the war in Iraq to last 100 years and has been filmed singing bomb bomb Iran and a hundred other things that make him dangerous to America, so many AZ zombies are still voting for this POS!!!

He must have liked being tortured when he was a POW, why else would he be so eager to send others to war for every little thing?

My dad was a Korean war POW and he was against every war after that because he knew it had nothing to do with freedom for Americans. The republicans did get the last laugh on him when they stopped him from voting in the last election before his death. I will never forgive them for that, I will never ever vote for a republican again.

Palin’s pal is pallin’ around with terrorists! As Sarah would say “We’ve got to stand with our Syrian allies, President Basher al-Assad, the Rebels, ISIS, ISIL… all of ’em, Katie.”

If McCain had his way, we’d be in a war in Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, AND Iraq. FOUR wars all at the same time. Are you kidding me? Between that and bringing Sarah Palin to us, I think he should be incarcerated. His “sell-by” date expired a LONG time ago.
