Texas Woman Named ‘Teddy Bear Paradise’ Threatened To Kill Obama
Federal authorities say a 57-year-old Texas woman has admitted to mailing a letter that threatened the life of President Obama.
Prosecutors in Houston announced on Friday that Teddy Bear Paradise pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening the president. The woman was previously known as Denise O’Neal, according to the Associated Press.

According to prosecutors, Ms. T.B. Paradise admitted to sending the 16-page letter addressed to Obama which told the President she was traveling to Washington, D.C. to kill him.
Prosecutors added that Teddy Bear later told two Secret Service agents of her intentions and that if she couldn’t commit the act herself, she would hire someone else to do it.
“I am coming to Washington D.C. to murder you,” Paradise wrote in the Nov. 28 letter.
Paradise will remain in custody until her November sentencing where she will face up to five years in prison.
In 2009, federal authorities in North Carolina alleged that she threatened to kill her probation officer to which she later pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 37 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.
In 2012, Paradise was arrested in Santa Cruz for an outstanding federal warrant.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Paradise also was convicted in federal court in San Jose in 2005 for mailing threatening letters.
I think this woman might need some psychiatric help instead of time in prison.

Well, there’s this: Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President’s Secret Service. That’s 43,830 death threats for his first four years alone.
