Don Lemon is standing in a crowd doing a live report on CNN as a a police officer pushes him and others in the crowd, even though there is no place to be pushed to.

Lemon did not end getting detained by officers there, but they did attempt to physically push him back away from CNN’s camera, shouting, “Move out of the way, sir. Move!”

[su_center_ad]

“We’ve been standing here all day,” Lemon continued to report as the officer moved him and other protesters back.

“We’ve got rights!” a woman behind him screamed.

“I’m not going to resist a police officer,” Lemon said and he moved backwards. “Now you see why people are so upset here, because we have been here all day,” he added. “We’re on national television. So imagine what they are doing to people when you don’t see on national television, the people who don’t have a voice like we do.”

At one point, Lemon tried to ask the officer why he was trying to move people out of the area but was unable to get a straight answer. Eventually he was simply told that there were “traffic concerns” and the police were trying to move everyone to a parking lot nearby.

“I think from my perspective here, the police actually created the traffic situation and the situation that’s going on, the chaos here, rather than the people who are just standing here,” Lemon reported.

45 responses to Cops In Ferguson Physically Push Don Lemon During Live Report

They pushed Don Lemon, arrested a Getty Images photographer . . . threatened to shoot other reporters. A free press is all that separates us from Nazi Germany, Russia or North Korea. The FBI needs to set up shop in Ferguson and weed out the bad guys.

      Starting with the white cops.

All cops should be removed and the National Guard put in charge…

        • whatthe46 August 20th, 2014 at 5:13 am

          you sure about that?

“I’m just going to be honest with you. Last night, one of my producers said that they — I won’t say if it’s a he or she, because I don’t want to give anyone away — said they came in contact with one of the members of the National Guard and that they said, ‘You want to get out of here because you’re white, because these n-words, you never know what they’re going to do.’ True story. I kid you not. 2014, a member of the National Guard. And my producer doesn’t lie. It is a true story.”

there needs to be a complete overhaul of a lot of people apparently.

All of these events are leading to something much worse if the grand jury doesn’t indict the cop….

    • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 6:36 pm

Why should they indict him??? What happens if the actual evidence shows he was innocent?? then what ?? George Zimmerman all over?? Political pressure to calm the masses ??

      • mea_mark August 19th, 2014 at 7:07 pm

He killed someone, let’s have a trial that is open and transparent and see where the evidence goes.

        • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 7:19 pm

WHY ?? If there is physical evidence and eye witness account that support him, Why should we have a trial? I am not saying there is, but I am asking you why??

I am surprised it has not been posted hear, but that would go against the grain of the website. But the report about the officer having a Fractured Orbital Socket?

I would post the article about the autopsy being a total farse, but I know it wont get posted here. It doesn’t fit the narrative.

          • mea_mark August 19th, 2014 at 7:26 pm

That should come out as evidence then in a trial. From what I heard he never went to the hospital. Where are the pictures? You would think the police would of released that by now if they had that kind of evidence to justify their actions, they have not.

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 7:46 pm

Thats just it. None of the evidence has been released yet. No forensics of any detail. Hospital records, investigative reports, eye witness accounts, both for and against. But yet, you have people calling him a murderer. that this was an execution. Hell, I heard Donna Brasile call this on cnn call this a murder, and yet she knows as little as you and I do .. All to often this is happening, and yet nobody challenges these people.

The autopsy done by Dr. Baden was released. Like it or not, Mr. Baden has a ton of credibility and we do not know if the autopsies disagree.

See above response. Dont be to sure Dr. Baden actually performed anything.

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 8:27 pm

Since we have NO police report, NO evidence, NO autopsy report, and NO information, it is difficult to make the judgment call that the cop is innocent. If you choose to believe the guy is god’s gift to policework that is your issue.
Why a trial? Because a cop shot an unarmed teen at least 6 times including through the top of the head and a shot into the eye which traveled out the jaw and into the collarbone which would be impossible unless his body was bent over.
Because people have a right to know what their cops are doing and if they are complying with the laws they are expected to enforce.
The cops are supposed to be the “grownups” … not the bullies in the schoolyard. If his actions don’t stand up to scrutiny (and we don’t know since they are giving the appearance they are hiding everything) then he deserves to be indicted.
Are you seriously questioning Dr. Baden? And how do you know since we don’t HAVE the “official” autopsy yet? It is possible that the autopsies are in sync except that Dr. Baden didn’t have the clothes so he couldn’t run fibers.
            Do you not have spellcheck?

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 9:28 pm

yes I am questioning Dr. Baden !!! And anything that comes out of the Crump Camp.

            1) Wed Aug 13 – Professor Parcells was contacted by attorney’ Benjamin Crump and Gray (allegedly just to assist Baden). Parcells was on MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnelllast night and stated he was contacted by attorneys Crump and Gray on Wednesday 8/13.

            2) Fri Aug 15 – Daryl Parks gave a press conference sharing his disgust the Ferguson Police had release the strong arm robbery footage. During the presser he told the media that their 2nd independent autopsy had already been performed

            http://youtu.be/85pgpVDlIqE

            3) Sun Aug 17 – According to the NYT Dr. Baden was flown in.
            http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/18/us/michael-brown-autopsy-shows-he-was-shot-at-least-6-times.html?_r=1

All of this brought to us by Frances Robles formerly of the Miami Herald, and the lead go to person of the Crump et al during the Zimmerman Case. Which many of her stories fed to her had some serious questions about them.

The actual truth appears to be – a rather controversial person Shawn Parcells, who is NOT a forensic pathologist, was used by the Scheme Team to conduct an autopsy – and then Professor Baden was brought in AFTER to meet with Parcells and give his OPINION of it.

Parcells on his own, has some serious questions and concerns. http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/metro/missouri-coroners-question-practices-of-forensics-company-operator/article_0662e5b1-dcfa-578f-9487-8ab6a176ea4d.html

The bottom line is that Dr. Michael M. Baden never performed an autopsy on Mike Brown. Instead he signed off on an opinion of a forensic examination completed by a controversial Forensic Pathologist Assistant, who did an evaluation of Mike Brown’s body at the request of the Scheme Team.

Dr. Baden was flown in later to review the findings of the Forensic Pathologist Assistant, Shawn Parcells, and give it credibility in the eyes of a non-questioning media.

The Scheme Team then took Dr. Baden’s evaluation of the Shawn Parcell review, and handed it off to their New York Times friend and cohort, Frances Robles. Selling it as if Dr. Baden had actually conducted the physical exam himself.

All excerpts taken from here. But I know most people would not even bother to actually read, so I copied them for you.

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 9:42 pm

            Duh.

Dr. Baden, 80, is a well-known New York-based medical examiner, who is one of only about 400 board-certified forensic pathologists in the nation. He reviewed the autopsies of both President John F. Kennedy and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and has performed more than 20,000 autopsies himself.

Prof. Shawn L. Parcells, a pathologist assistant based in Kansas, assisted Dr. Baden.

“You do this for the families,” Mr. Parcells said.

The two medical experts conducted the four-hour examination Sunday at the Austin A. Layne Mortuary in St. Louis. Benjamin L. Crump, a lawyer for Mr. Brown’s family who paid their travel expenses, hired them.

Now – what are YOUR credentials.

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 10:04 pm

Obviously you did not take the time to read: Which I knew that you would not.

Why did Darrel Parks announce to the press that the Autopsy was already done 2 days prior to Dr. Baden even flying in?

Or are you so blinded by your own self perceived notions?

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 10:24 pm

here is another question. Because you said so. “DID” Dr Baden actually sign the “Unofficial” autopsy?? Has it been released with all of his notes and his signature? I have not seen a copy. Have you?

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 9:13 pm

I was going to let this go, but you have seriously stepped over the insanity line.
Michael Baden is a licensed and board certified physician and forensic pathologist. As such, he does not go around doing “farcical” autopsies. All autopsies are legal documents and anyone fabricating or writing inaccurate information is subject to loss of licensure, fine, and very possibly losing Board Certification.
Autopsies are legal documents – just like Medical Records.
There is no reason or need to lie on an autopsy report. It is what it is – it’s not complicated and people who perform autopsies know the science and math involved in their findings.
But since you are obviously a nitwit and a con, you fail to realize that most physicians/pathologists do not lie on legal documents. SCIENCE can be proven. There is no need to conduct a farce. The human body can tell us its own story. That’s why we have forensic pathologists. Why don’t you READ ABOUT IT?
Before you accuse a licensed physician of conducting a farce, at the very least learn how to spell the word.

      • uzza August 19th, 2014 at 7:23 pm

Because when you kill someone, you should go on trial, not on vacation.

        • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 7:25 pm

No, not true. There is such a thing as justifiable homicide as well as self defense. So i don’t agree

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 8:36 pm

of course there is … and yelling self defense when you have pumped 6 bullets into a black unarmed teen is not going to fly. As far as “justifiable” homicide, I don’t know if that can be determined without some type of Grand Jury determination. The Ferguson PD can’t just go “oops – justifiable homicide”.

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 8:55 pm

And what if the kid was white and unarmed?? And nobody says it should not be investigated. But “IF” the investigation should show a justification, then what??

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 9:21 pm

Then he walks. No charges are brought – but again that is up to a Grand Jury.

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 10:26 pm

So if the officer shoots an “Unarmed” white kid and pumps him with 6 bullets. He gets to walk? And if the kid is an Asian or Hispanic? Do the same rules apply ??

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 10:39 pm

So what happens if a “Black” officer shoots an unarmed “Black” kid???

        • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 7:29 pm

so, based upon your comment. Every time there is an officer shooting or self defense shooting, no matter what the circumstances are, that person whether it is a law officer or civilian needs to be tried for murder!!! Am I correct???

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 8:32 pm

ALL officer involved shootings are investigated. Hate to disappoint you. But in most cases, things aren’t hushed up.
There is no way that it is anything other than “cop shoots unarmed black teen”. If it looks bad, it probably is. This country provides for EQUAL JUSTICE FOR ALL. Not just WHITES.

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 8:54 pm

of course they are investigated. As well as they should be. But we dont automatically arrest them and try them for murder. And whether the person was armed or unarmed. Many times that is unknown at the time.

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 9:20 pm

That’s what Grand Juries do. (Do you actually KNOW anything?) The “Prosecutor” presents the findings to a Grand Jury who makes the determination as to whether to indict.
Most Grand Juries indict because they believe if there was no reason to indict, they wouldn’t get the option.
All it does it bring charges … I doubt this Prosecutor will provide anything because he is extremely biased and should recuse himself. His father was a cop killed by a black man.

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 9:43 pm

Yes, I am well versed in Self Defense laws. Not everything is brought to a grand jury. If the evidence is not strong enough for a prosecutor to attempt a prosecution, or it is highly in the favor of the defendent. The case will not ever see inside the room of a grand jury.

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 9:47 pm

Or if prosecutorial bias trumps justice?

          • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 9:20 pm

          • crc3 August 19th, 2014 at 10:53 pm

Maybe unless the evidence is so overwhelming a conviction is not possible…

          • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 11:12 pm

Who would ever join a police force?? Because basically you are saying that no matter the circumstances, a person should be tried. And as far as a private civilian who is protecting himself or others??

Guess it is better to be judged by twelve then carried by six.

          • Rusty Shackleford August 20th, 2014 at 2:37 am

Maybe we shouldn’t be having the cops investigating alleged wrongdoing by cops, hmm?

      • BanditBasheert August 19th, 2014 at 8:37 pm

George Zimmerman is a killer. Probably with a bit of sociopathy in him. But yes he executed a young black man.
Therefore in your opinion, he was justified.

        • Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 10:06 pm

We can debate the merits and faults of the Zimmerman case any time you please. Your opinion is well stated in this response all in its own.

          • crc3 August 19th, 2014 at 10:50 pm

Zimmerman got away with murder because the Sanford police department was (is) corrupt. Remember…their chief of police resigned under scrutiny and it took over a month for them to arrest GZ which unnecessarily delayed the inevitable trial….

      • crc3 August 19th, 2014 at 10:45 pm

The cop had OTHER options if Brown was charging him. Like shooting him in the legs or using a taser. I just don’t understand shooting him in the head TWICE….

Seattle Police Chief weighs in, says “We did the same stupid shlt in the Battle of Seattle, and we just made things worse” (no shlt, Sherlock) but then he goes on to say what exactly what they should have done, and what Ferguson should do.
