On Tuesday, Rep. John Fleming told Family Research Council president and “Washington Watch” host Tony Perkins on his show that the bombing campaign against the extremist group ISIS is just President Obama playing politics with U.S. foreign policy, according to Right Wing Watch.

[su_center_ad]”It has the appearance, unfortunately, of a political move and is probably timed just right,” the Republican congressman said. “The problem is we need the president and Congress to establish strategies and policies that are going to be successful, not just do things on political grounds.”

Louisiana Republican David Vitter also said that the strikes against ISIS are politically-motivated. What they’re saying is, Obama hates our country and is only bombing ISIS because of upcoming elections. Because, that’s what they would do. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. And yet, Republicans offer no alternative with the exception of another Iraq invasion. [su_csky_ad]

Can these people hear themselves? How do you say something that irresponsible and nothing in your brain tells you to shut up?

Poor Republicans, they remind me of learning disabled children but, of course, without innocence or honesty.

        …or the desire to learn.

Cognitive dissonance at it’s very finest.

      • Suzanne McFly September 26th, 2014 at 5:15 pm

Textbook case of cognitive dissonance at that.

Remember those heady days under Bush 43 when in was considered treason to criticize the Decider in Chief? He looked so cute in his little flight suit…

how sad and pathetic is that

          • M D Reese September 26th, 2014 at 1:45 pm

There is an excellent documentary about that called “Shut up and Sing!” It’s hair raising what happened to them. The right is really just a bunch of bullies–their way or the highway.

    • granpa.usthai September 25th, 2014 at 12:18 am

was that when requesting reinforced floor plates for US vehicles to better protect US troops from roadside IEDs considered an act of treason or offering aid and comfort to the enemy?

      • M D Reese September 26th, 2014 at 1:43 pm

That’s the time. Back when they set our troops off with faulty body armor and their families had to scramble and send them good ones.

And yet Barack has this to say??? Sheeesh, send in the Clowns already!!!!

The right is nothing, if not consistent in picking up the message and spewing it everywhere and often.

    • granpa.usthai September 25th, 2014 at 12:38 am

members of the 3rd Reich had the same collusions. It’s inevitable when you line up and goosestep in the same direktion!

  6. rat618 September 24th, 2014 at 10:44 pm

And putting ground troops in would be what? Fellow you guys need to decide what you want since some of your fellow RWNI’s were clamoring for bombing.

    • granpa.usthai September 25th, 2014 at 12:35 am

putting ground troops back in would be a big boost to their offshore bank accounts! They was just funnin’ about the bombings – just to get in the ‘war mood’. But now that placing ‘boots back on the ground’ has picked up in talking, it’ll be the ‘code’ for “only way to win the never ending war on terrorist” is to keep regular deposits unending.

These clowns thought nothing of the “‘Terist’ Threat Level” being elevated in the days leading up to the 2004 election.

    • granpa.usthai September 25th, 2014 at 12:30 am

that was back in the days when a code red was a code red for sure! Always wondered back then what a yellow day would be like ’till I remembered that red was the Republican color! May be why some of their local sheriff’s favorite color for undies is pink?

  8. eddie1247 September 24th, 2014 at 11:03 pm

But their stupid remarks are not politically motivated at all. While the White House is dealing with these terrorist groups congress is cowering in their home districts concentrating on their reelection campaigns rather than dealing with real issues. Silly me, why would they break their record of ignoring real issues now after ignoring them for the past two years?

    • William September 24th, 2014 at 11:44 pm

“congress is cowering in their home districts concentrating on their reelection campaigns rather than dealing with real issues”..
      Well said.

    • granpa.usthai September 25th, 2014 at 12:25 am

Republicans are never ever political, ‘specially nearing election time. That would be just so un-American and probably muddle up US foreign affairs.

  9. William September 24th, 2014 at 11:42 pm

……”.is just President Obama playing politics with U.S. foreign policy”.
Yet, when given the chance to weigh in on this situation, Congress split town, and told the President to deal with the situation. Remember? It was shortly after Boehner filed suit against the President…….for dealing with the situation.

  11. cameron September 26th, 2014 at 12:08 am

Crucifixions with bodies left hanging to terrorize people. Right, what was Obama thinking wanting to help those people?
