Man Turns Gun On Self After Possible ‘Accidental’ Discharge Kills Another
A man who tried to disarm a man who pulled out a handgun was fatally shot before the gunman turned the weapon on himself early Sunday in Willowbrook.
You read that right.
[su_center_ad]According to Lt. Eddie Hernandez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, both of the men knew each other and the shootings did not appear to stem from an argument.
“It sounds like it could have been an accidental discharge,” Hernandez said. “The shooting of the individual himself could have been deliberate.”
According to NBC Los Angeles, police responded around 1:00 a.m. to reports of gunshot victims.
Witnesses say two men involved in the shooting were “hanging out” with others in front of a house.
One of the men pulled out a handgun and another man who lived at the house attempted to disarm him, officials said.
A struggle ensued and the man trying to disarm the gunman was shot in the upper torso. It was about 30 seconds later that the other man turned the gun on himself, officials said.
The gunman was pronounced dead at the scene and the other man was taken to a hospital where he later died.
No one else at the home was injured

“Children” should not play with guns. Do I feel sorry for either one of them? Not in the least….

Another “tragic” accident! How many more will it take to enact “responsible” gun laws?

If only a good guy with a gun had been there, he could have prevented this by shooting both men before they could have been shot.
