Children Find Gun In Woods, 7-Year-Old Shot In The Buttocks
[su_right_ad]Authorities say that a 7-year-old child was shot in the buttocks after a group of children found a gun inside a backpack in the North Carolina woods, according to WYFF.
On Wednesday at 3:47 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a gunshot wound.
When they arrived on the scene, they found the child with a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
The child was transported to Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
Deputies say that the child, two family members and a neighbor found a backpack in the woods with a gun inside.
Authorities said one of the children pulled the gun out of the backpack and the victim was accidentally shot.
