Mr. Plumber doesn’t reveal who wrote this open letter to President Obama, only that the sender wishes to “remain anonymous as they don’t really want the IRS showing up at the door.” It is replete with misspellings, misplaced apostrophes and random capitalization.  The sender couldn’t even get the racial slurs correct.

[su_center_ad]

I am sorry your Dad turned his back on you. I am sorry your Mom kicked you out of Indonesia and sent you to live with your Grandparents on an island where you didn’t surf. But mostly I’m sorry that you are taking your issues out on the rest of us.

My mom and dad made it through for better or worse, and although we had black kids, Jewish kids, Hispanic kids, a ton of Waps, Pollack’s and Kraut kids in my school, we never noticed the difference. Our folks worried more about the content of character of the kids that we hung out with than their skin color.

You and Mr. Holder can kiss my butt because my folks were no cowards. They were Americans…

Last week, in a speech that was supposed to be about the barbaric Islamic State and protecting the American people, I watched you stand in front of the United Nations and proclaim to the world that the United States has it’s own racial and ethnic tensions in places like Fergusson, MO. Yes we do, but in the last six years, you, Sir, have made those tensions worse…

If a foreign culture that denigrates women, kills gays and has to wait until they get to Heaven to get laid wants to bring war to our land, then when the time comes, we Americans of all colors, of all political backgrounds, will do what we have always done and take care of business.

It is not clear what “take care of business” means in this context.  And, of course, this writer knows who the real Americans are.[su_csky_ad]

  2. M D Reese October 2nd, 2014 at 6:28 pm

Oh let’s hope that Joe-not-a-plumber-not even-a-joe and Ted Nugent both give motivational speeches at GOPTP campaign events. Please please proceed!

    • Larry Schmitt October 2nd, 2014 at 6:49 pm

Maybe it’ll turn out that they’re secret lovers, and they go to Utah to apply for a wedding license.

      • granpa.usthai October 2nd, 2014 at 9:00 pm

just had a flash of Sam coming up from Ted’s ‘special place
with chocolate pudding all over his face.

No kidding! I agree with Larry. Pass that bleach and quick! Geez granpa, thanks a lot for that visual. NOT.

      • M D Reese October 3rd, 2014 at 5:00 pm

That would be rich. They’d make a cute couple, too.

  3. wpadon October 2nd, 2014 at 6:37 pm

The letter must be from someone else, it is to well written for Joe.

  4. Larry Schmitt October 2nd, 2014 at 6:48 pm

Okay, his 15 seconds are long over. You can stop paying attention to him. Move along, nothing to see here. He never had anything to say, and he just keeps saying it.

  5. Carla Akins October 2nd, 2014 at 7:03 pm

    Huh?

  6. tiredoftea October 2nd, 2014 at 7:06 pm

Joe was cranky about the Repubs diversity ad. He’s desperate for the attention he used to get.

  7. eddie1247 October 2nd, 2014 at 7:42 pm

It would seem that “Joe the Plumber” criticizer of unions especially the UAW, is now a card carrying member of the UAW and works for Chrysler. I wasn’t aware that Chrysler had plumbing in their vehicles. What will they think of next?

  8. mea_mark October 2nd, 2014 at 7:59 pm

I gotta admit, he is symbolic of what the republican base is, have to give him credit for that. It’s nothing I would ever want to admit to though. Then again the GOPers seem to be proud of who they think they are. Their delusions are almost complete, all they need now is a fake second coming of their GOP Jesus.

    • Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 4:19 am

If he’s symbolic of the republican base the Farahkan is symbolic of the democratic base.

  9. tracey marie October 2nd, 2014 at 8:01 pm

I am not prejudice but “waps, pollack’s and kraut kids”…lol, the teabaggers are ignorant and racist

    • burqa October 2nd, 2014 at 8:55 pm

Yeah, but “Joe” sez he didn’t write it, someone else did! Joe is just making sure the rest of us get to read that garbage.

This is the way bigots are. They try to be too clever by half and they keep returning to the subject, trying out new ways to make their bigoted points behind some sort of cover. It becomes for them a search for adequate cover from behind which they can snipe. They never see how the rest of us see through them.

This is a major difference between someone who is a bigot motivated by hatred and those who occasionally make an off-color or otherwise offensive remark in passing. I’ve seen it with racists and with those who hate other groups. They just can’t leave it alone because not only do they harbor hatred, but it is an obsession with them. If they hate Jews they will continually return to expression of their hatred. The same if their target is another group defined by their faith, sexual orientation or ethnicity. The bigots keep looking for issues or other pretexts to provide cover from behind which they can snipe. They kid themselves into thinking they are being clever enough to where their bigotry is not apparent.

    • Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 4:17 am

Words like teabaggers and n#ggers are inappropriate but only one is acceptable on a liberal website.

      • NMAXXS October 3rd, 2014 at 5:08 am

        LOL – Here’s a tissue, teabagger…

      • Khary A October 3rd, 2014 at 10:14 am

How is teabagger even closely relate-able to “n#ggers”? im fairly certain N#gger has been spat on bodies swinging from lamp posts and trees all over the country….from what I’ve seen I haven’t seen any lynch mobs stringing up any tea party members, cutting off their balls and all the while casting slurs against them to crush the spirit of all those associated with them. ALSO wasn’t aware tea party members were a race unto themselves.

        • Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 10:21 am

The words may not be equal but they’re both inappropriate.

    • TrueAtheist October 2nd, 2014 at 11:33 pm

Yeah… between this guy and choosing Sarah Palin as a running mate I doubt McCain’s judgement could ever be considered trust worthy and I’ve heard that he thinks he should run again.

  11. majii October 2nd, 2014 at 8:43 pm

It always amuses me that the ones who are constantly discussing race and disparaging non-whites are those who claim the president is the racist who has caused race relations to degrade since 2009.

I’m not buying this BS. I’ve lived over 60 years dealing with racists, knowing that no matter how much I achieved in my life; no matter how I followed the law; no matter that I raised my daughter to graduate from college, get a good job, and have no kids born out of wedlock; no matter that I paid my taxes and stayed out of trouble; there are some who at first sight of me have all kinds of negative stereotypes about me in their minds.

If I live to be 100, I’ll never forget what one of my white students, who had been to my house several times, said to me when I was telling her about my youngest brother who lives in Seattle, is in the Air Force Reserves, works for Boeing, and lives in an upscale golf community. She said, “Wow!!! Your brother sounds like a good catch!” “I’d date him if he weren’t black.” I didn’t hold her comment against her because I know she meant no real insult to me but was just expressing herself in the only way she’d been taught to by her parents. The poor kid had no idea that maybe it wasn’t a good idea to say what she said to me about my brother, but she was so unaware of the stereotyping because she’d heard it many times before.

    • Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 4:14 am

Does not wanting to date outside your race make a person a racist?

      • NMAXXS October 3rd, 2014 at 5:06 am

        Yes.

        • Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 7:49 am

Well then ~95% of whites AND blacks are racist.

          • NMAXXS October 3rd, 2014 at 8:14 am

            That is correct.

            Did you get your tissue?

          • Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 8:19 am

You’re the one pretending you’re a victim not me.

      • Khary A October 3rd, 2014 at 10:07 am

I don’t believe it does. that’s just preference…Now saying that dating outside your “race” is disgusting and a sin against god or whatever ..THAT’s racist. ( im not saying you did, I’m just saying )

How’s that good-paying union job working out for you, Samuel Wurzelbacher?

    • Bouncerquinn October 25th, 2014 at 11:42 am

It appears to be working out for him quite well. At least he’s not drawing a welfare check like you, loser!!

      • OldLefty October 25th, 2014 at 12:00 pm

It appears to be working out for him quite well. At least he’s not drawing a welfare check like you, loser!!

        _______

        1) You mean like the welfare check he USED to draw?

when Plumber Joe was a child, he was on welfare, not once, but twice, and he credits it with helping his family ultimately lead a middle-class life style. He defends having received welfare by saying that he’s subsequently paid into the system.

        2) What makes you think that the poster you are responding to is “on welfare”??
Do you just make it up as you go along?

        • Bouncerquinn October 25th, 2014 at 12:40 pm

What you state is false. Joe never drew welfare. You liberals like to visit the issues of the parent on the child. That’s part of what is wrong with your ideology.

That guy is online constantly trolling. The post that he has made repeatedly implies that he is a mooch!!

          • OldLefty October 25th, 2014 at 1:06 pm

What you state is false. Joe never drew welfare.

            _______

            His family did.
What would have become of him if they did not have that safety net?
As a liberal, I’m glad they did.
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnK84mM5N-o

But YOU conservatives never let facts get in the way of a good fantasy.

You mean a mooch like the corporate welfare queens of the top 1%?

          • Bouncerquinn October 25th, 2014 at 2:47 pm

They likely would have become successful entrepreneurs as my folks did. They rejected the liberal smokescreen. You are glad they did, because you think it justifies your pathetic ideology. Your kind can continue as blood sucking parasites, I will continue to carry the water!!

          • OldLefty October 25th, 2014 at 3:20 pm

They likely would have become successful entrepreneurs as my folks did.

            ______

            Spare us the hooey.

ALL our parents are successful entrepreneurs.

            So what?

The ” pathetic ideology” that built the middle class that became the envy of the world???

The blood sucking parasites like the 1% who use their resources to obtain an
economic gain from others without reciprocating any benefits back to society
            through wealth creation???

Step out of the echo chamber once in a while and stop being such a sucker.

          • Bouncerquinn October 25th, 2014 at 5:38 pm

You are the sucker Old fool. Your left wing policies are what’s wrong with this world. Both the major parties in the US political system will come crashing down soon enough!!
Are you ready for it, old fool?

          • OldLefty October 25th, 2014 at 5:46 pm

What left wing policies are those?

Those of Dwight D Eisenhower? (Whom the far right Birchers called a communist?)

Those of Bill Clinton, who Ayn Rand devotee, Alan Greenspan called “the best Republican President”?

Those of Barack Obama whom Reagan aide Bruce Bartlette called a “moderate Republican”??

            Do you even know?

            I suspect you don’t.

EVERYBODY says that about the two party system and has for centuries.

Perhaps you would be more comfortable in Somalia?

          • Bouncerquinn October 26th, 2014 at 2:40 am

No. It’s you worthless air wasting Progressives who need to be sent away from this country. Your time is coming old fool. We will take our land back!!

          • OldLefty October 26th, 2014 at 8:03 am

            As opposed to ‘worthless REGRESSIVES”???
So you want one party rule where everyone must think alike.

            YOUR land???

Unless you don’t get YOUR way?

The Founders, who believed in rigorous and lively debate would be rolling in their graves.

Sorry, but you sound more like a party loyalist from 1933 Germany than a participant in a self governing republic.

          • Bouncerquinn October 27th, 2014 at 12:44 am

You dumbshit. we’ve got one party rule right now. The right and the left are so far off base they are holding hands. You are to ignorant to know what’s going on. And you don’t seem to have original thought. Just cut and paste, you lazy bum!!

          • Tammy Minton Haley October 27th, 2014 at 1:39 am

name-calling, insults, and lies…cheating, threats, and ultimatums…conspiracies, fear, and hate…it’s really all you have left, huh?

you are an embarrassment…your entire teabagging consortium is a black mark on this country’s history…

when the books are written in 20 years, this entire period will go down as a missed opportunity–to finally shed our collective angst over slavery and racial divide…but, oh, no…you people have made it worse…

we could have been leading the world on alternative fuels…but, oh, no…you people have made us a joke…

we could have been–we should have been–making our society healthier, stronger, more capable…but, oh, no…you people fight us every step of the way on healthcare, even on frigging vegetables for kids……

we could have been raising test scores, sending our future to universities…but, oh, no…you people destroy the education budgets…

we could have had research on these diseases you are so fearful of…but, oh, no…you people allow gun manufacturers to set policy, so no funding for the NIH…the CDC…the sciences…

            you are a black & white TV, in a 3D TV world…
your kind will, of course, ultimately fail, and die out–going the way of the dodo…it’s too bad you people are damaging the United States so badly on the way out, though…we may never recover from you people…

quite ironic, really…the very ones who claim such love and passion for this nation…are the very ones hell-bent on destroying it…

            too bad…

          • OldLefty October 26th, 2014 at 8:25 am

Q “What left wing policies are those?”

A “No. It’s you worthless air wasting Progressives who need to be sent away from this country.

In other words, you don’t know what so called “left wing policies” you are talking about.

Or… Perhaps you are a liberal doing right wing schtick.

  15. AnthonyLook October 3rd, 2014 at 1:57 am

From the ilk of Palinistas. This is the proud face and actions of one of many millions of White Americans that embrace racism. These are American traitors and in no uncertain terms, they are the enemy our country. The battle against racism is fought along side all manners of ethnicities and most importantly along with the majority of White Americans that do not embrace racism. These racist have relinquished their allegiance to America; they serve only their lock step cause. Their abuse will never be rewarded at the voting booth.

    • Jake December 14th, 2014 at 4:09 pm

      Amen!

      • AnthonyLook December 15th, 2014 at 3:55 pm

Amazing how many racists there are in America that have voted in this upcoming new Republican Congress. The future is challenging to say the least.

  16. Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 4:10 am

“Mitch McConnell said our job is to see to it that Obama is a one term President…”
If the GOP candidate wins in 2016, won’t you want him to be a one-term president?

    • NMAXXS October 3rd, 2014 at 5:03 am

Considering what the GOP is currently offering in terms of candidates, Mitt being the front runner at this time, the answer would be a big fat, yes.

Can you name an instance in recent history where the congressional Democrats blatantly made it their sole existence to undermine a GOP president?

      • Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 7:51 am

McConnell said it was his #1 political goal to make Obama a one term president. Reid, Pelosi, and you would say the same thing about a GOP president yet you cry when McConnell said it.

        • NMAXXS October 3rd, 2014 at 8:17 am

          Nonsense. Another tissue for you…

          • Skydog2 October 3rd, 2014 at 8:20 am

One term is a hope. But, the “job” is to find compromises, not to obstruct. GOP obstructionists are traitors.

    • Patrick October 4th, 2014 at 8:55 am

Yes, absolutely. One term is a hope. But, the “job” is to find compromises, not to obstruct. GOP obstructionists are traitors.

  22. Boss Tweed October 11th, 2014 at 7:39 am

Aren’t Waps, Jews, Pollacks and Krautsall considered “white” under our cockeyed “civil rights” laws and affirmative action directives?? Then how can another “white male” discriminate against them?
