Catholic League President: Liberals Defend Islam Because They Don’t Like Jews

Liberals are afraid to criticize Muslims, but that is not the only reason they support the Islamic faith, Donahue claimed.
“I think there is also a sense here, a lot of these people really don’t like America,” he explained. “What does Islam have in common with the left? Maybe not in terms of ideology, but in terms of an animus against this country, and I think it’s palpable, and they don’t like Jews either.”

I was referring to that video of the Cardinal fans vs M. Brown demonstrators. A woman challenged the camerman over his military service. She wanted to know “how far did he get”. I think she meant rank but who knows how a bubblehead thinks. He replied “I got back alive, that’s how far I got”. Then she asked him if he graduated. I think the video is still viewable at that story.

My dad was a B-26 pilot and flew 50 missions over Europe in WWII, many of them over Germany with the Luftwaffe trying to shoot him down. I guess my dad wouldn’t measure up to Bill Donohue’s standards either.

The B-26 likely killed more people who tried to learn to fly it than the enemy. It’s bizarre wing loading and crazy landing speed likely made it the most difficult bomber to fly of the war. It could however outrun a lot of fighters. The Marauder was sometimes called the “prostitute”, as some observed it’s wings and decided it had no visible means of support. Kudos to your Dad.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all Abrahamic faiths. They all believe in the same God. Only the last two support the teachings of Jesus and hold him up as a saviour. Neither actually practice what he told them. Personally, I’m an atheist and I can’t stand any of them, though if I had to choose one to be friends with, Judaism would be it.
