Conservatives Link Ebola Scare To Undocumented Immigrants
[su_center_ad]
AUSTIN, Texas — Conservative Republicans are tying the widening Ebola scare to the nation’s debate over border security, warning that the threat of Ebola and other infectious diseases increases the need for tougher enforcement and health safeguards along the porous southern border. After a month of global attention, Ebola is becoming an increasingly hot political topic…

This is all the GOP have at this point, fearmongering to diminish voter turnout, because Lord knows they can’t discuss the actual important issues that matter to voters.
tiredoftea October 26th, 2014 at 9:56 pm
Yeah, like shutting down the government, again.

“If Ebola breaks out in Haiti or in Central America,” You know, where all those brown people live. They’ll stagger across hundreds of miles northern Mexico or swim the Caribbean just to infect the USA before they die. Cruz and his ilk are the sick ones.

Originally it was Gen. Kelly's worry Ebola could show up in those places and spark another epic migration of refugees to the US. Was he feeding the trolls or just ignorant!?

we all know the usurperkenyancommie in our white house is opening the borders to those mexicans with calves the size of cantalopes and his friends in the muslimbrotherhood/ISIL he is giving them the cia developed Ebola so they can infect the white people so he can intern the ones who survive in fema reeducation camps. Then marshal law will be instated so he can start creating the caliphate in the USA. We know that was his plan all along and when he was born he made his mom put notices in the Hawaii papers even though he was born in kenya.

I am so tired of “be afraid, be very afraid” Republican fear mongering.
How many people have died from Ebola in the United States?
One.
That would be Dunkan — a native Liberian who flew to the U.S. by route of Liberia to Brussels to the United States.
How many people have been positively identified as infected by the Ebola virus in the United States? There is a Doctors Without Borders physician, one or two nurses who cared for Duncan, and far as I know, that’s about it.
All the rest of that nonsense is complete political Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid political crap.

Thousands die from guns every single year, but heaven forbid Obama’s Surgeon General nominee points out that they are a public health issue.
tiredoftea October 26th, 2014 at 10:06 pm
There is absolutely no issue that these despicable idiots won’t twist to instill fear and hatred in their simple minded followers. The Republicans are not a political party any longer. It is a department of propaganda for a few beyond wealthy families to use for their own venal purposes.
Obewon October 26th, 2014 at 10:30 pm
The lone US victim flew from Belgium to Dulles, VA and Dallas. Rhetorically how dumb is their remaining base?

I blame the Italians.

Perry has had 13 years to stop illegal migration, but Perry wanted the cheap labor for his corporate pals in Texas., Only in crises does it concern him and then he spends his days blaming Obama even after Bush’s refusal to help stop immigration after 9 /11.
Do nothing and blame Obama is Republicans Motive of Operation.

.The GOP approach to public health was crystallized at the 2012 debate where Republicans. said it wasn’t the government’s responsibility to take care of anyone who showed up in the emergency room.
Now all you hear is Republicans fear-mongering about Ebola,
But remember that they’ve cut $1.55 billion from the budget of the National Institute of Health, $300 million from the Center for Disease Control, and slashed global health programs by $411 million in recent years.
Its like duck taping your hands and feet together and throwing you in the river then Scream swim for it
Bottom line here is
The GOP’s anti-government crusade of spreading fear and blocking healthcare has hampered the nations ability to face a real Ebola challenge if actually needed.
ChrisVosburg October 27th, 2014 at 12:14 am
The only recorded cases of Ebola in the Americas are entirely in the US and the US alone. The only place in the Americas in which a death from Ebola has been recorded is in Texas.
That being the case, it seems it would make more sense to restrict the filthy, disease-ridden citizens of the United States from traveling to the pristine and disease-free nations comprising the remainder of North and South America, and that goes double for those third-world denizens of Texas.
It’s just common sense, people.

About the only thing the conservatives haven’t linked ebola to is teabaggers
