Caught On Tape: Witness Steps In To Protect Black Voter’s Right To Vote
[su_center_ad]
It was practically written in the stars that the Republicans were going to win the election on Tuesday. All the Republican voters had to do was turn out, and may of them did. What I find wholly pathetic, however, was the inability of the Republicans to win without the specter of foul play hanging over their…

I love how the poll worker says something along the lines that “I don’t know what you mean by African American, I don’t see color, orange, black, green, everyone is the same to me”. Anyone who claims this has been accused of casting judgment on others due to the color of their skin.

When a nations people do not trust that their vote is being counted, there is no nation. That is what the Republicans are doing. It is treason.

Stuff like this is what leads to revolutions. It is oppression and totally unacceptable.

Here we are supposedly this Democratic Nation which at times send representatives to other countries to educate them on this process..and we cannot even do it without the same pitfalls as these other nations..(liars,cheats,influence peddling..etc.).. I call it a farce, and we have no right to educate others until this country can maintain a level that is above board ..honest /true to fact here.
We have no right to educate others nor even reverberate through the world that our country has the best system until we can fix the system, and manage to put down those who would inflict a plague of dishonesty into it.
One of the ways to do this, is to Investigate fully all aspects that surrounds “influence peddling”..change the laws to be more strict and punishable with heavy consequences to bear from those who have portrayed it. To do this we must repeal Citizens United, and Limit all contributions to campaigns, and change access for ads and debates from the traditional broadcasting system to public broadcasting.. ie: PBS and C-Span..which we already pay for and contribute to.
Two hundred and fifty dollars per person as a max amount per year.. also Term Limits, and also change whatever needs to be in order to get SCOTUS members out by the time they are 75-80. Yearly mental and regular physicals by two Doctors.. One Republican and One Democrat for each. Altzheimers and or Dementia I feel is taking them to task along with their ‘Bias’.. Judges are suppose to be unbiased and rule via laws.. not through the needs of either the Democrats / Republican agendas.
There is more.. but I will not bore you much further.. just food for thought..

I think the members of Congress who are so enamored of hearings and investigations need to take voter suppression on, and they can look at voter fraud, too. With actual data, maybe allegations of fraud would diminish, and outrage about suppression would ensue. Right… They know how they were elected, and the ones on the way out wouldn’t have time to get it done. I agree with the SCOTUS problems, but any attempt to change it would likely be ruled unconstitutional by the Supremes.

________
But these aren’t investigations, they are push polls.

I live in Broward County and this was a common situation throughout. Had a friend who went to vote only to find that the polling place he was supposed to vote was closed with a sign saying he had to go to another location. Luckily he did not have to work that day and had plenty of time to go and vote but many did not have that option. I’m sick of FL for a number of reasons but voting rights in this state have been in question since Bush was handed the presidency in 2000 with the help of his then FL governor Jeb. This is what we get with a super majority Republican legislature and a criminal governor by the name of Rick Scott….

Republicans hate the vey concept of democracy. They prove it over and over with criminal bullshit like this.

Election Day should be a national holiday. Or held on a Saturday. Or every single voter nationwide should be able to vote in the thirty days leading up to an election, or by absentee ballot. It would be relatively easy to fix this. If the GOP wanted to actually allow the democratic process to work. But they don’t.

Or on Sunday. Voting has the potential of doing people infinitely more good than attending church services.
Jimmy Smith November 9th, 2014 at 10:22 am
Or like Canada where employers are legally required to give people 4 hours to vote at the start or end of business day.
Larry Schmitt November 9th, 2014 at 10:12 am
And yet the republicans continue to claim that voter ID laws are intended to prevent voting fraud. You mean like this?

This is a petty bureaucrat flexing its only muscle… now imagine what happens to you if it’s a cop you challenge LOL

America needs election reform more than it needs revolution. Time to federalize the rules for voting and electing officials and apply them equally everywhere in our nation.
Foundryman November 9th, 2014 at 1:03 pm
It’s unbelievable to me that the outrage over this hasn’t brought crowds out so large that Washington is shut down. Voting isn’t “a” right but THE right that laid the first block for our freedom and liberty, and it’s very obviously under attack by the right wing.
So let’s reward them and give them bigger majorities!!!, way to go America!!
rg9rts November 9th, 2014 at 1:23 pm
So its not about the right to vote but the right to deny a vote….now I understand
allison1050 November 9th, 2014 at 6:08 pm
They will never stop at with the lies and cheating…this should be much “bigger” news.
