Missouri KKK Leader: ‘Ferguson Protesters Are The Best Recruiters Since Obama’
According to the head a Missouri KKK group, calls are pouring in to his “Klanline” from prospective recruits who are angry over the protests in Ferguson.
[su_center_ad]”Missouri is definitely on fire right now,” Frank Ancona, the imperial wizard of the Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan said.
It’s as if he’s never seen the film Mississippi Burning.
The Riverfront Times reports:
In the past the group made headlines by passing out fliers for a KKK neighborhood watch program, but Anocna tells Daily RFT the Ferguson protests are attracting a new wave hopeful hood-wearers. He says he’s inducted 50 new members to the group’s Missouri chapter this month, and numbers are up in Ohio and Alabama as well.
“These Ferguson protesters are the best recruiters since Obama,” he declared. “Normally we might hear from ten people a week in Missouri, and now we’re hearing from more like 50 people a week. Sometimes, depending on these news stories, we get 100, 200 calls in a day.”
But Ancona says the time for such restraint is over. He cites death threats made against police officers on social media and statements from outspoken activists, such as notoriously inflammatory livestreamer Bassem Masri, as reasons the Klan can no longer stay on the sidelines.
“I call them terrorists, not protesters,” he said, while discounting the KKK’s actual history of terrorism, murder and intimidation.
A flyer was released by Anocona’s racist group yesterday which vows the use of “lethal force” in response to violent protesters.
“You have awakened a sleeping giant,” the flier reads. “The good people of St. Louis County of all races, colors and creeds will not tolerate your threats of violence against our police officers, their families and our communities.”
“You have been warned by the Ku Klux Klan!” it concludes. “There will be consequences for your acts violence against the peaceful law abiding citizens of Missouri.”
The day the KKK deems themselves worthy to police a town with a large black population is the day the SCOTUS needs a stern talking to while writing their letters of resignation in ‘post-racial America.’

How sad that too many white people see themselves threatened by other’s who want the same rights and privileges in our country.

Because people of color protesting injustice has always been a recruiting tool for the klan.

Hard to understand how people still run around in white hoods and threaten to kill others all because of a black President and blacks wanting equal rights. It is as if we are back in the 40’s and 50’s

If there was any doubt that right wing fantasies about racism being dead in America demonstrate a complete disconnect from reality, I think the stark contrast between the reactions to Cliven Bundy and the Ferguson protesters should put that doubt to bed once and for all.
In one of the stories about Bundy a few months ago, I posted a comment about a hypothetical scenario where a thousand armed black people with guns camped out in front of a state GOP headquarters to oppose impeachment of the President by an “out of control government”. I wondered what the reaction would be from the very same elements hailing Bundy as some sort of hero.
Now we have our answer.

If there is no more racism in America, why do groups like the kkk exist?

What is the difference between the black panthers and kkk? Do whites, Hispanics and Asians loot, burn and destroy? Does black on white crime get the same news coverage as white on black? MLK knew what had to be done. Does Al Sharpton? Black behavior and attitude fuel racism. America will have racism until EVERYONE follows the same rules.
