With tension already on the rise while waiting for the Grand Jury decision to be handed down in the case of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, the KKK has promised to use “lethal force” against protesters.
[su_right_ad]That didn’t go down well with Anonymous, so the loosely-knit Internet collective has responded in the best way possible, taking the hoods off of Klan members.
The irony here is palpable.
Anonymous members are masked while ripping the hoods off of Klan members who promise violence against protesters who are exercising their right to free speech.

Kim Serrahn November 15th, 2014 at 11:17 am
whole bunches in the deep south and other places.
M D Reese November 15th, 2014 at 11:40 am
I agree. I wonder how many of the white cops actually live in the towns where they work. It should be a requirement.
Carla Akins November 15th, 2014 at 1:47 pm
It is here in Kansas City for anyone that gets paid by the city. From the mayor to the janitor, fire and police. I just assumed it was everywhere, until a few years ago.
M D Reese November 15th, 2014 at 7:53 pm
I live remote, so the cops are our neighbors, friends and customers. I had a friend years ago who joined the SF Pd, and it was a requirement then. I guess it must be left up to the community.
rwgate November 17th, 2014 at 2:47 pm
Most cities I’ve lived in, Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, have laws that require any public servant to live within the boundaries of the city. This includes firefighters, police officers, and teachers. However, I can see where one might feel that it is safer to live somewhere else (particularly for police officers) where your interaction with the community might put you at some risk. Not sure if I’d agree.
M D Reese November 17th, 2014 at 2:50 pm
Yes–and if their interactions are adversarial, then they have a much larger problem. I think that is what the laws are meant to encourage–beiong a part of and invested in the community that you police and protect.
m2old4bs November 15th, 2014 at 2:10 pm
Actually, it is considered safer for a LEO to live in a nearby town rather than the town that he serves as a LEO. Rule of thumb I’ve been told is to live 30 minutes to an hour away from work. Less chance of running into people you’ve busted/ticketed while going about living life, i.e. going to the store, post office, doctor’s, church, etc. But, then I’m not a LEO, so what do I know.
Carla Akins November 15th, 2014 at 2:22 pm
If they live in the community they work, they have a vested interest in succeeding. It’s better for the community.
William November 15th, 2014 at 2:41 pm
Although I admit I was more rural than urban, I not only lived in the town I served in, but was and still am in the phone book. My belief is simple. I won’t have a job that means I have to hide, and I won’t hide just to have a job.
I think it’s about respect. During my 16 years in LE I was only called at home once. A shoplifter wanted to know if it was ok for her to go back to the store she was banned from.
If you respect people and remember that they are innocent until proven guilty, I think that helps.
When I was taking someone to jail I would remind them of that.
I would always tell them that it’s not personal, and that nobody is guilty just because a cop thinks they are. I just don’t have that kind of wisdom. That’s up to a court.
I would also strongly recommend they get a lawyer, and furnish them the toll free number for the bar association referral line.
I think some lawyers found it a bit disarming when a client would tell them a cop recommended their services.
I didn’t originate these standards. I learned from a Sgt who was respected by criminals and lawyers alike. Indeed, I spoke at his funeral, and noticed the first row was mostly defense attorneys.
Respect is something that can take a career to earn, but only a moment to lose.
M D Reese November 15th, 2014 at 7:50 pm
I live on a remote island–so we all pretty much know everybody who lives here. The cops are our neighbors, friends, and customers.

“With tension already on the rise while waiting for the Grand Jury decision to be handed down in the case of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, the KKK has promised to use “lethal force” against protesters.”
Funny how they choose to spin what was said. When you say “promised to use “lethal force” against protestors.” you attempt to imply that they are simply going to use it regardless. That is not what was written/said in the slightest. What was written was “We will use lethal force as provided under Missouri law to defend ourselves” and then they proceeded to quote the statute. Since when is a person not allowed to claim they will protect their life within the state guidelines an issue? The only “promise” here is that the “peaceful protestors” better be prepared if they decide to be less than peaceful.
Kim Serrahn November 15th, 2014 at 11:16 am
So you gonna be on the KKK side if it comes to a fight? just asking.

Good! I hope this is a permanent function of Anonymous. I’d love to see a site where you could go and look up Klan members in any given town. It’s very similar to having a public list of registered sex offenders. It’s good to know who and where they are.
CherMoe November 15th, 2014 at 12:55 pm
They are all over the country, not just the South. I recently saw a graphic and was surprised to see at least a couple in the northern states. The vast majority are in the red states.

I do so hope that the defense attorney’s, ACLU chapters and DA’s in Florida, in particular, around Sarasota Co. are sent the ex-police officers pictures and reminded that if anyone is foolish enough to hire them as police officers, security or TSA, that any cases would be suspect and any acts of violence against racial or religious minorities would come back on the employers since they were notified of these officers’ affiliation with a well known hate group.

Ravensinger November 15th, 2014 at 1:50 pm
The KKK is classed as a hate group, so their rights to free speech and assembly are not necessarily protected by the First Amendment. They are sadly not classed as a terrorist organization, which, given their history and their future aims, would be more than reasonable.
Still, being outed as part of a hate group does confer some negative social status – they will never be able to join the military (as some Klansmen are urged to do in order to get the special-ops training), and thus will never be able to receive service-connected benefits. They will not be able to join law enforcement agencies -and those already in will be pressured to resign. And the taint spreads to those around them, as more and more employers are conducting background checks as a condition of employment.
I am pleased that Anonymous will do what law enforcement either cannot or will not, and expose the leaders of hate in this country. These leaders know it’s wrong, at some level, and the cost if they’re recognized: whatever they tell themselves, that’s the true reason for the hoods. I just hope that everyone they hit, deserves it, and that no innocents get caught in this.

Shadow November 15th, 2014 at 4:30 pm
Based on the storyline that you do have a Hispanic gf(I’m not saying I buy that storyline.)….the more you talk and show the racism, the more she’ll be headed out thedoor in short time. If you don’t mind being “outted”…go ahead and say who you are with a link. However, be aware that the majority of us will be able to separate out your writing from a fake profile. P.S. The “White guilt” thing is pretty dumb, as the majority of people alive today weren’t around for any part of slavery. When I voted, I voted for the lesser of 2 wrongs. Surprisingly, President Obama has done much more positive things for the Poor and Middle Class than any President I’ve been alive for and that dates back to 1967. McCain was/is a nutbag and Romney is/was a guy who destroys companies, rather than building them: bad choices. “White guilt” is a media and Conservative excuse, because it was too shocking for them to believe that a person with Black roots could be elected. I voted for the best Candidate, not who had the same color as me. If you vote any other way than the best candidate…you shouldn’t vote at all.
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 2:56 pm
by the way..it is y’all and ya is correct in slang
Tony Hopkins November 15th, 2014 at 3:39 pm
The original Black Panthers were a group of community college students from Oakland that got together to practice self-reliance and self -defense. The impetus for their forming was to protest a stoplight that the city had neglected to fix for years, resulting in several children’s deaths. They had a ten point program for fixing their community. They did not preach hatred, and believed that violence should only be used in self-defense. Ronald Reagan, governor of California at the time, later appropriated the Black Panther before school breakfast program and called it head start. So, maybe you should learn a little history before you compare the BP to the KKK.

The Klan has an ugly history of violence going back 150 years. Giving the Klan the benefit of the doubt means your ignorant of history or defending them because you agree with their violent racist actions. Stop with the butt hurt reverse racism nonsense. Reverse racism does not exist.

Aquabuddha actually it does. Just cause your skin isn’t white doesn’t mean you can’t be a racist. Jerks are jerks regardless of skin color. My mom knew Louis Farrakhan a black man who my mom says is just as bad as the KKK.

For your own information, the KKK Imperial Wizard twit who put out the flyers live 1 1/2 HOURS away from Ferguson. They’re not about defending, rather they are about inciting their own riot. What’s your real problems, afraid of Anonymous exposing you? They could, easily, do it as simply creating an alternate profile still leads back to the real you when the proper places are either hacked or paid for. P.S. Suzanne McFly November 15th, 2014 at 3:15 pm
That is awesome, makes me feel good about the human species again.
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 3:16 pm
we have a couple klan losers trolling
Suzanne McFly November 15th, 2014 at 3:18 pm
Thanks for the warining, I love playing with them sometimes, but eventually I feel as if I am getting to dirty because I sink to their level no matter how hard I try not to. I am a funny person and insults come easy to me, but sometimes these insults are terrible, but I can’t help but insult these morons.
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 4:51 pm
I hear you!

Racist trolls have overrun the Vice site
https://news.vice.com/article/the-kkk-is-pledging-lethal-force-against-ferguson-protesters?preview&cb=v1415900949156
Shadow November 15th, 2014 at 3:27 pm
I, literally, wrote this in the comments section of an article about the
KKK yesterday; about de-hooding the KKK if they show up in Ferguson.
However, I also wrote to take pictures of them non-hooded and post them
all over the net.
Props to Anonymous for taking the exposure of the KKK twits to “a whole nutha level”!
Aquabuddha November 15th, 2014 at 3:29 pm
Well this is better than leaking celebrity photos!
Eric Wood November 15th, 2014 at 4:21 pm
traditionalistamericanknights.com/ is still up, please tear it down completely, this kind of activity is not welcome
thanks
athynz1 November 15th, 2014 at 5:04 pm
As much as I despise their message, as unwelcome as they are, and as much as they sicken me they do have the right to have their website.
StoneyCurtisll November 15th, 2014 at 5:44 pm
Free speech~!..
It isn’t always pretty…
And often very offending..
Lets be happy we have it, for better or worse.
Jones November 15th, 2014 at 5:57 pm
I don’t know for sure,…hate speech, recruiting for terrorist…gives me pause.
StoneyCurtisll November 15th, 2014 at 6:24 pm
For every rule..
There seems to be an exception..
Your “pause” is mine as well..:)
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 2:31 am
How about slander or libel?
Anonymous can get away with hate speech, recruiting for terrorism, providing info on lone wolf attacks, slander and libel.
They can’t be charged or sued.
There is no oversight, no checks and balances and nothing to show they are immune to the temptations that have led good people given absolute power to go bad. History is littered with such cases.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
But we are to think Anonymous is immune because they are satisfying an emotional enjoyment of seeing the Klan outed, supposedly?
Jones November 16th, 2014 at 3:31 am
Slander and libel aren’t protected forms of free speech. Anonymous is no more immune than anyone else, those responsible can be sued. They can’t be granted immunity by public support. Proving slander and libel or apprehending the suspects may prove more difficult.
athynz1 November 15th, 2014 at 6:00 pm
Exactly!
David R Velasquez November 15th, 2014 at 9:43 pm
They don’t have a right to promote and organize actual murder. So screw their website
athynz1 November 15th, 2014 at 11:06 pm
Like it or not, agree with it or not they have the very same freedom of speech we do.
GreatLakeSailor November 16th, 2014 at 12:09 am
And we can not incite violence either, so true statement.
David R Velasquez November 16th, 2014 at 4:57 am
I think you’re missing the point here. They’re not expressing an opinion here, they’re actively soliciting and threatening violence. In which case, taking down their website becomes an act of self defense.
Pick a side, dude.
rhondakelly07 November 15th, 2014 at 8:52 pm
Please get rid of Black Liberal , Racist, e Race baiting web sites also.
RuckFepubs November 15th, 2014 at 4:41 pm
The Missouri arm of the KKK has regularly had stupidity turn around and bite them in the ass. See: They tried to take over a section of a freeway for the “adopt a mile” clean up plan and when they could not be legally stopped from doing so the state renamed the freeway the MLK Jr. freeway.
Liz_Mitchell November 15th, 2014 at 5:18 pm
And they haven’t been that good at showing up to clean their highway spot from what I hear. After the ACLU that the RW hates so much fought for the KKK’s right to have an “Adopt a Mile” stretch of road, too!
Joe November 15th, 2014 at 9:26 pm
Like many libtards your facts are a little off … The stretch of highway you are referring to is the Rosa Parks Highway.
TheScienceEnthusiast1130 November 15th, 2014 at 5:07 pm
Anonymous is a force for good. 🙂
We are Anonymous
We are Legion
We do not forgive
We do not forget
United as one
Divided by zero
Expect us.
😀
Derp November 15th, 2014 at 7:53 pm
A force for good would not choose sides until all the facts are out.
Lady Willpower November 15th, 2014 at 8:15 pm
It’s not hard to choose sides when the KKK is on the other side. Do you agree or disagree?
Dan Lever November 15th, 2014 at 9:19 pm
Gee, the KKK on one side and violent protesters destroying stores on the other. Certainly an easy choice.
rhondakelly07 November 15th, 2014 at 8:51 pm
Whites are in Genocide world wide , and in USA, help us too please. Please stop Obama and Black Leaders Divideing us.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 2:25 am
I don’t know about that.
I’ve always considered forgiveness to be a positive character trait. Looking back on my life, I have never regretted forgiving someone, but there have been a number of times when I wish I had been more forgiving.
There can be no justice if judgment is not tempered with mercy.
Above, I have laid out why Anonymous should not be regarded so highly.
GMan November 15th, 2014 at 5:12 pm
I just hope they are accurate in their de-hooding, I would hate for some innocent person to be labeled as a racist kkk member.
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 5:14 pm
why would they be careless?
GMan November 15th, 2014 at 5:17 pm
No ones perfect, mistakes are made.
Chris Halbower November 15th, 2014 at 5:18 pm
Yeah, why would they be careless? Like when they claimed Bryan Willman was the cop that shot Michael Brown http://www.liberalamerica.org/2014/08/14/anonymous-releases-photo-of-alleged-michael-brown-shooter-bryan-willman/
The hacker group Anonymous is ALWAYS careless.
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 5:23 pm
they apologozed and took full responsibility. They are not always careless
Spirit of America November 15th, 2014 at 6:43 pm
It’ll happen, mistakes are always made on ops like these. And correcting the mistake & apologizing helps, but some damage always remains once read. Some never get the correction.
rhondakelly07 November 15th, 2014 at 8:50 pm
Black Panthers are racist they are there also. Talk about them too. Racist. And they are attacking every race, Beat a Mexican
Foundryman November 15th, 2014 at 9:49 pm
Anonymous will have no trouble at all to expose these idiots. All the KKK lovers have to do is troll post a comment to forums like this one to be traced and found then exposed. It’s hilarious all these racist fools keep posting.
StoneyCurtisll November 15th, 2014 at 5:24 pm
The KKK Took my Baby Away..

You’re so done here it’s not funny.
By the way, a couple of the Ramones were friends of mine. You’re an idiot.
Keith Welnicke November 15th, 2014 at 10:25 pm
You are pretty fast on the whip 🙂 did you check out the other site that was posted….ugh. Racists should take a long walk on a short pier…better yet, wiggle their toes in the sand for a few days.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 2:21 am
Now you’re going and getting me jealous, Anomaly.
I got to see them at the Baltimore Civic Center on their first tour. As I recall, the ticket was $13.50. Opening act – Facedancer followed by the Ramones followed by Iggy Pop. I was in the 13th row.
Anomaly 100 November 16th, 2014 at 7:49 am
Iggy Pop is really good live. He’s also crazy IRL.
StoneyCurtisll November 15th, 2014 at 5:41 pm
Since there are no members of the KKK that reside in Ferguson Missouri..
If they just stay home and mind their own F-ing business, they have no reason to shot anyone in self defense…(unless one of their white neighbors in the trailer park tries to break in)
Jones November 15th, 2014 at 5:52 pm
Racist trolls have overrun the Vice site over a KKK article. Some really sick postings there.

They are pretty far to the left,… Vice also does very good international documentaries on HBO.
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 6:23 pm
not today. Okay, I watch their docs on HBO. Did not make the connection. That is what politico was like, I heard they are moderating now and purging those types
Jones November 15th, 2014 at 6:25 pm
That’s good news, I had stopped going to Politico because it was a troll fest.
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 6:36 pm
Seems some are popping up here, they are looking for a place to post.
allison1050 November 15th, 2014 at 9:53 pm
Happy to hear that ’cause I had stopped going to Politico.
allison1050 November 15th, 2014 at 9:52 pm
Tracey, I thought you knew about Vice News! Great reporting, videos but Jones is correct about the KKK and nuts in general commenting over there it’s just unbelievable to read them. I suggested to Anomaly100 a week or so that he should go there to MOD ’cause it’s in dire need.
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 10:05 pm
Seems they do not have mods, I went to see.
allison1050 November 15th, 2014 at 10:15 pm

tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 10:25 pm
agree, C&L has good articles but a bunch of whiny libs. Always blaming everyone for their own troubles, no personal responsibility allowed. Not all just a hand full
KB723 November 15th, 2014 at 10:49 pm
Heh, you noticed that as well??? =)
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 10:53 pm
I get beat up on by 3 of the whiners at least once monthly.
KB723 November 15th, 2014 at 11:09 pm
So why do you go there, this is pretty much the only place I comment at anymore, I did go to C&L maybe a month ago, I sometimes go there cos I look through my Disqus dashboard and see others I follow are commenting there… I actually got a bit upset with one of the Writers there because their headline to the story was total BS, I do not Dig sites that take an original story and change the headline just to stir up animosity amongst their readers/viewers/commenters, in fact this was a post a friend put up at G+ tonight, Yes of course the headline was not what the story was, and for the publisher to make such a statement, as if he were thinking for the person the story was about was just BS… http://www.forwardprogressives.com/republican-admits-doesnt-care-democracy-plans-ignore-fracking-ban-approved-voters/
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 11:23 pm
I usually just ignore them. One stalks me, I talk with a few nice people there. I was rude to a poster today, realized it and apologized the pack of idiots attacked. I noticed they claim to be poor and blame the government because their SS is too low.
KB723 November 15th, 2014 at 11:27 pm
Gotta watch where you go I guess, when I first started commenting here, one person called me a ‘Squirrel’ and another accused me of being a Troll from a site I had never even heard of… Small communities are not always the most welcome I guess… =(
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 11:29 pm
I understand, the three said the same things to me. You don’t belong here made me laugh. There are what I call squatters on that site, a handfull are always there and tehy call for help when they start a fight. Annaleigh and several others are very nice to speak with
KB723 November 15th, 2014 at 11:43 pm
Nice to know the good ones and the bad, I sometimes wonder if some of the folks at G+ are paid to post, one of my followers posted a story today that I had posted yesterday, so I left him a link… Perhaps they are so busy posting they never stop to look at what others are or have posted, it really makes me comprehend their intelligence….
http://youtu.be/asL9w24dK_4
tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 11:46 pm
who do you follow…if you feel comfortable naming them
KB723 November 15th, 2014 at 11:57 pm
Bob Moon is the only one I know of that posts at C&L, I follow many here but not sure they know it, not even sure if you are on that list but can be added… I am an oddnic of sorts, I used to check my dashboard to see where the stories were, but lately I spend more time looking for stories you will not find on most news sites, I like to take a regular story and amplify it, adding photos and videos to make the story that much more to the reader… I usually add a Disqus comment to all my posts in hopes that others who are following me will find it on the Dashboard but I wonder if some folks even know how to find the dashboard???
tracey marie November 16th, 2014 at 12:14 am

fracking

tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 11:40 pm
yes I do, they seem to have huffpo type headlines at times.
KB723 November 15th, 2014 at 11:58 pm
There are many that do, I have not found that here, perhaps why I enjoy commenting here… =)
tracey marie November 16th, 2014 at 12:08 am
Not there at C&L
KB723 November 16th, 2014 at 12:21 am

Doug Adams November 16th, 2014 at 1:24 pm
“Anomaly” I first went to “FreakOutNation” through a link in “Newsvine” and found, what it appears to be, a group of outspoken people that I found interesting.I posted some things that are not in retrospect funny or clever to me but anyway. I try to keep comments down, because of the effort. Here in “Liberaland” you are doing great and your addition adds to this site. Just look at the exposer of this article, as I smile, its gone to a number of different media sites and that is cool as hell. Now I shut up, say “Hi” to sometimes snappy “Carla” I love her spirit. No more comments, I like the information. Peace
sorry it was long
Anomaly 100 November 16th, 2014 at 2:24 pm
Aw, thanks so much for saying that! And there’s no need to be shy in the comments. Your input is valuable to all of us.

White November 15th, 2014 at 9:17 pm
Members in NATO, the EU and Heads of State have stated their goals openly.
Their goal is to genocide white people through massive non-white immigration and assimilation.
China did the same thing to Tibet and the UN condemned it as genocide.
Politicians condemn genocide by assimilation of aboriginal groups.
What’s happening to us is White genocide.
This is not happening to Blacks, Asians, or Arabs.
Hell even Aboriginals have their reserves.
White people are not even allowed those.
Diversity means chasing down the last white person.
It’s genocide.
“Anti-racist” is a codeword for anti-white.
Anomaly 100 November 15th, 2014 at 9:19 pm

That some real Klan meeting talk there buddy.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 1:45 am
You sound very afraid.
Ever seen how big John Hancock signed his name to the Declaration of Independence? He did so, knowing he was signing a death warrant, and said he wanted to make sure the king could read his name in case he didn’t have his glasses or something.
Hancock wasn’t afraid the way you are.
Neither were the other signers or the citizens who openly took up arms against the mightiest empire on earth, at the peak of its power.
Fearful people like you did not build this country. But the fearless people who did worked around the chicken-hearts.
– – – – – and by the way, humans of different races have been interbreeding for so long that no one has pure blood. That’s right – you got some blood in you of other races.
Just like mongrels are healthier in the animal world, in the human world the nations that have the most diversity are the most powerful. America, for example. Look how long it took those Nazi jokers to flame out. For all the German racial “superiority” the ethnically divers Russians beat the daylights out of them and we did too.
Same thing when it came to the Japanese who likewise dreamed of being racially superior through their purity. We whupped their butts all the way across the Pacific even after they got a running start with Pearl Harbor and a much larger army and navy.
TheScienceEnthusiast1130 November 16th, 2014 at 6:40 am

Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:02 pm
Racism is about the alleged superiority of one race over another… but all I see here is a bunch of white trash, no better than any alternate cultural counter part be it the ghetto in Detroit or the Barrio in East L.A. or in this case the Trailer Park in Louisiana.
Brainlock November 15th, 2014 at 11:15 pm
check out the Sullivan, MO area. active group branch is supporting Wilson out that way.
allegedly “disowned” by main Klan proper?
Shelly Koesterer November 15th, 2014 at 11:16 pm
Hey there are two people on that list that I know for a fact are not a part of the KKK, Joe Fleming and Ryan Biskup. This information at least about these two being a part of kkk is completely false.
Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:18 pm
And where is this fact proving your claim?
Anonymous has nothing to gain personally from accusing these two of being members.
Shelly Koesterer November 15th, 2014 at 11:22 pm
I know them personally, one guy is dating someone who is not white and both of them have friends who are not white. This would disqualify them as kkk members
Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:25 pm
I knew Charles Manson Personally… and there is no way he could have told those crazy kids to go up and murder Sharon Tate as he was a hippie and as we all know hippies are about peace and love… See how stupid your story sounds.? And how unreliable…
Shelly Koesterer November 15th, 2014 at 11:27 pm
I’m being totally honest, I’m from St. Louis.
Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:30 pm
I quite simply don’t believe you… the reason I don’t believe you is
for the simple fact it’s merely your word against theirs. And seeing
how Anonymous isn’t in the habit of just going around and ruining
peoples lives for the hell of it, and in major situations like this it
always serves a purpose.. I am more inclined to believe them. Like you
said, you know them personally, whos to say YOU don’t hold racist views
too?
WE don’t know for sure… but we do know Anonymous found enough information to tie them to the KKK as active members and would not have named them if they hadn’t as it does not serve them in any way.
Shelly Koesterer November 15th, 2014 at 11:35 pm
Cool story bro but no, and no. I don’t have to prove to you that I’m not a racist, I’m just here to tell the facts and the facts are those two men are NOT a part of the KKK.
Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:37 pm
You saying so does not make it a fact… you have offered no evidence other than testimony claiming they are not KKK members.. that is not a fact, that is an opinion.. And yes, if you dont want to be labeled as a liar you DO need to prove it because YOU said it.
Shelly Koesterer November 15th, 2014 at 11:45 pm
Well I understand where you are coming from, but however I know what is true. And how exactly would I give you proof? Maybe you should fact check articles you read on the internet
Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:47 pm
Fact check articles?
LOL.. yes, please show me ANYTHING contradicting the accusation and clearly showing that these two have no connection other than YOU.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 12:36 am
The fact is that you have accused two innocent and upstanding community members of being something they are not. Ryan Biskup and Joe Fleming are both good friends of mine. They are scholars and humanists. Anon did get it wrong. I am upset by the way you talk to shelly, I think if you knew of the community work she’s done, and the hardships she’s faced as an open LGBT member, you would not be so quick to disrespect her as you have. I’m any event, I think our gay, black mutual friend, mike carr, can vouch to their innocence.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:19 am
So, are your two friends on the phone with legal counsel right now? Seems they have the world’s easiest lawsuit if they were named fraudulently.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 9:26 am
You can’t sue people who are anonymous. Hence the name.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 12:34 pm
Investigators would go out and do what they’re paid to do – investigate (incredible, isn’t it?) – and ascertain their identities, just like any other case that involves Internet commentary.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 2:10 am
LET’S ALL GIVE IT UP FOR SHELLY!
According to Benjamin Miner, she is lesbian, gay, bisexual and transexual all at the same time!
There’s gotta be some sort of prize for that, somewheres.
And andandand she’s “open”, too!
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 9:26 am
In st.louis LGBT is a group that stands for equal rights for all.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 2:13 am
Just gonna take a wild shot – – -tell me, Mr. Miner, is your gay, black mutual friend mike carr a Jyew, too?
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 9:27 am
No.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 12:53 am
You’re asking someone to prove a negative.
Hoof Hearted November 15th, 2014 at 11:53 pm
Shelly, is it in any way possible that you don’t know of their Klan activity, that they kept it totally secret from absolutely everyone including yourself?
Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:54 pm
Don’t be silly.. she knows them personally, he dates outside of his race.
Hoof Hearted November 16th, 2014 at 12:08 am
KKK could well be more prevalent than anyone would have guessed for that area. And ya, I have to agree that Anon. has no credibility if it starts accusing innocent folk, so the likelyhood of that happening is zilch.
lol November 15th, 2014 at 11:39 pm
How innocent do you actually believe Anon to be? Lmao, you must have just heard of Anon. Whatever man. I wouldn’t be surprised if they dropped a few names that may have just been troublesome people for some of the people actually participating in this. Whatever though, if most of it’s for the greater good, then a few mishaps are no problem right? Don’t go out shooting people without doing your own research as well. Hang the bastards that are proven to be affiliated, but just because Anon said so doesn’t make it fact. The big picture is to protect the innocent, isn’t it?
Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:40 pm
Show me where I said they were innocent? I never did.. I said they had nothing to GAIN… which they dont. Ad yes they have a much higher credibility rate when it comes to matters such as this.
lol November 15th, 2014 at 11:43 pm
You’re building Anon up to be an all knowing oracle with nothing but good intentions. I’m done here lmao.
Rhyme_and_Reason November 15th, 2014 at 11:46 pm
Nope, I even specifically used the words “more inclined to believe”. That means given the alternative source… a random girl claiming to know them personally yet offering no proof, I believe them over her because in the past when they finger someone for doing bad things they have been overwhelmingly correct.
I’m building no one up, I am picking who is more trustworthy in terms of believing, and it aint Shelly Koesterer.
Look up, you will see it as plain as day.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 1:58 am
B-b-b-b-but she’s from St. Louis!
C’mon, man!
Rhyme_and_Reason November 16th, 2014 at 12:00 am
But since we are on the topic of “building up” and having “nothing but good intentions”… I don’t think you understand just WHO Anonymous is… this is the only organization that had a member held for ransom by a Mexican Cartel and completely turned the tables on them and got their member out with not so much as a penny spent. Anonymous had sensitive information connecting government officials and tying them directly to the Cartel and the cause of thousands of innocent lives. The Cartel backed off and released the Anonymous member… Anonymous was then warned by the Cartel should they release the information at any point the Cartel would MURDER 10 innocent people for every name expose. Anonymous didn’t release the names, even though law officials would have preferred they did.. all to make sure no one died due to their choices.
There is no reason for Anonymous to expose these names in this context unless there was validity to it… not even under the pretenses of petty revenge.
These people don’t need an event like this as an excuse to get even wiith someone, any member that MIGHT have had a grudge could have made
their lives miserable far before this event took place.
And that is why I believe them.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 1:19 am
Please refresh your knowledge of the foundational principle of having the right to face one’s accuser in a court of law. Is that possible with Anonymous?
No.
They avoid any sort of accountability.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Having that right to face an accuser and our others preserved cost this nation hundreds of thousands of lives. After paying such a dear cost, it would be foolish to throw it away in favor of trusting people you know nothing about, other than what they claim.
We have fought many enemies in our history and none of them were able to take away our freedoms. When we lose freedom it is willingly, for the sake of expediency, usually in an emotional response that so excites the imagination that we forget the far more important issue of our foundational principles.
John Browne November 16th, 2014 at 1:06 am
The pic up above shows a KEITH Biskup… and the accusation is against a RYAN Biskup. Are these 2 different people, perhaps?
^..^
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 1:57 am
Well there you have it.
Everyone knows there has never been a lie told by anyone from St. Louis. They don’t even ever exaggerate just a little….
Tom Wade November 16th, 2014 at 12:26 am
What does that prove, my dads relatives were 1/2 white 1/2 1st nation, were ALL klan members and most were in high positions in their local chapters .So much for your statement “This would disqualify them…”
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:05 am
That’s not proof.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:14 am
Here in america, we believe in innocent until proven guilty. As the accuser it is you who has the burden of proof, to prove conclusively beyond any doubt that your claims are factual.
Kristopher Loviska November 16th, 2014 at 1:38 am
In a court of law. For a crime being committed. I bet you believe in god. Can you prove it exists?
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:43 am
I don’t believe in god. Nobody can prove his existance, because there is no proof. Association with a gang is a crime that is punishable in the court of law.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:53 am
At least you managed to get one thing right. There is no God.
Ross Peeler November 16th, 2014 at 5:03 am
“Anonymous has nothing to gain personally from accusing these two of being members.” Other than publicity and notoriety, of course.
Joe fleming November 15th, 2014 at 11:40 pm
This claim is made against us because of people that we unfortunately know. where is the proof in this that we are klan members. Obviously there are pictures in here of people who are involved in the klan and there are pictures of some who are not. Racism of any sort is completely idiotic to me and I can speak for some others involved here, being Ryan Biskup. Have never been and will never be racists against anyone. Simply put

I assure you guys that some of this is totally misguided. I am here on behalf of Joey Fleming and Ryan Biscup. These two are my two best friends, nay brothers, for nearly a decade now. I promise you they could not be further from racist. They’ve spend literally years of their life in my home, which is heavily of Muslim influence. To show you their character, not one time have they eaten pork around me without asking me if it’s alright. They’ve always respected my beliefs and customs. You have my Facebook link. My personal website is http://www.fromdeno.com and I am from Sarajevo Bosnia. These things I am a giving you are facts and sources. Do your own research.
Thank you.

As you can see on the comments, they and others already have. Maybe you should check your information, before you condemn people based on false information.
ravens fan November 16th, 2014 at 1:09 am
I haven’t seen not one post from the unmasked Klan punks, just a couple of post from people claiming to be friends or one time posters like yourself.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:11 am
You obviously haven’t read many of the comments, this would be my fourth. The post from Joe Fleming, yeah that’s from, you guessed it, Joe Fleming.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:14 am
One person, with no avatar or posting history, posted under the name “Joe Fleming”, which could be anyone. Their statement was rambling, incoherent, and didn’t even deny at any point that they were a Klan member.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:29 am
Right, because you would be so calm cool and collected whilst being accused of being a racist, and a Klan member.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:31 am
The person who posted that – unlikely to be Joe Fleming to begin with, so discussion is probably moot – nevertheless can’t even speak simple English correctly.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:35 am
Not all are as privileged as you so clearly are. Get off your high horse, dude.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:38 am
I grew up in a crime-ridden hellhole with lower middle income parents. I know no privilege whatsoever.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:40 am
As did I, but I have been incredibly privileged in my pursuit of knowledge. In this way I’m sure you can agree to be privileged as well.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:42 am
Any chance we could get back to the topic at hand?
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:44 am
Nope. The falsely accused people were removed so I’m all good.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:45 am
Provide verifiable proof that they were falser accused.
Why do you have an obvious vested interest in this? Your relationship to them is what? You’re not angrily shouting from the rooftops about, Mike Stag, for example.
EDITED TO ADD:
Just saw that they’re “good friends” of yours. You’re obviously unbiased.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:49 am
Falsely. “Falser” is not a real word. They are both good friends, and upstanding gentlemen.
I do not need to, the fact that they were removed from the list is proof enough.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:52 am
I typo’ed. Again, I’m considerably more educated and intelligent than you ever will be, so you’re not allowed to correct me. Your “friend” Fleming can’t even type at a 4th-grade level. You should worry about that, and your complete lack of logic, as opposed to puffing yourself up by pointing out the one typo I make every several thousand characters.
I can think of another reason you are being this aggressive on this issue. Those who shout the loudest …..
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:56 am
The fact that you make that claim, proves without any doubt, that it is completely and unequivocally false. No truly intelligent person would ever make such a claim, especially based on the miniscule amount of evidence that can be derived from an online conversation. I only pointed out your typo, as to show how annoying it is when the original message intended remains in tact.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:59 am
I simply stated that it’s a possibility. Makes sense, with how out-of-your-way you’re going to rant that your two “friends” aren’t Klan members. If they truly were wronged here, they have the world’s most easily won lawsuit and should be in contact we lawyers as we speak. You’d be better off helping them in that regard than arguing with 50 people here for hours on end.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 2:02 am
“I’m considerably more educated and intelligent than you ever will be, so you’re not allowed to correct me.”
This is an attempt at a factual claim. It does not deal in probability.
I’m going to go ahead and assume that you have been proven wrong, as your only response is to request I withdraw from the forum.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 2:04 am
The reference to the possibility was the possibility that you are in the Klan yourself, which would explain your aggressive defense of these two rednecks as innocent gentlemen. Try following the conversation.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 3:26 pm
I didn’t even realize that was what you were inferring. The fact that you would make such a claim is only evidence of your lack of knowledge regarding the subject matter. I am the most liberal, atheistic, equality-defending, outspoken humanist, science loving Democrat I know of. The kkk are disgusting, hateful people of gawd. I think if we’re being completely honest with ourselves, they deserve to be rounded up and slaughtered like sheep. However, if such is the case we damn well better know that they are indeed guilty of the crimes they are accused of.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 4:29 pm
So go support your friends by suing Anonymous and this website for posting false information. If you’re correct in your assertions, you should win easily.
Elsewhere in this thread, your own friends, the people you claim were wronged, state that they know people that caused this misidentification. At the least, they associate with other Klan members, which means you’re defending your good friends who associate with the group of people you just wished slaughter on. What sense does this make?
nick crews November 16th, 2014 at 2:05 am

Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 3:32 pm
In my above post I was referring to the claim “I’m considerably more educated and intelligent than you ever will be, so you’re not allowed to correct me.” Sorry I didn’t make that clear.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 4:26 pm
That’s wonderful, but you were wrong, because that’s not what I was referring to. Again, try following the flow of the conversation.

How do you know it’s Joe did he call you?
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:04 am
It’s rather noticeable that nowhere in your statement do you deny that they’re Klan members.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:10 am
I’m pretty sure saying someone is in no way a racist excludes them from being members of a white sup remit organization, whose Maine philosophy is based on…racism.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:16 am
Maine is a state. You meant “main”.
No, making an ambiguous statement when you’re a random, anonymous person online about someone else’s racism doesn’t prove in any way that they are or aren’t a member of the Klan.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:24 am
Pretty obvious that it’s an auto correct function of my phone.
You need a comma before “when you’re a random” and after “online”
I think you need to review the American constitution. In which, it clearly states that all men are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. It is not up to the people who know these men, or the men themselves to prove their innocence. It is up to the accuser to prove beyond any reasonable doubt of their guilt.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:30 am
Mmm hmm. When you have an education and a degree, you’re allowed to correct people.
Blaming “auto-correct” is pathetic, not to mention ridiculous. You wouldn’t have the word “main” auto-corrected any possible way to “Maine”. This is nonsensical.
Anonymous clearly has proof; they wouldn’t run the article if they didn’t.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:34 am
Because the first letter was accidentally on caps. So you are privy to this proof? I’m pretty sure not, as it is non-existant, thus why there names were removed from the accusations.
Having an education or a degree does not put you above the rest of the world, trust me I have both.
athynz1 November 16th, 2014 at 4:44 pm
Okay I have to correct you on a couple of points:
1) You assume that Mr Miller lacks an education. Sloppy thinking at best. So what sort of degree does one have to have to correct someone, hmm?
2) You obviously have no idea how auto-correct works – perhaps Mr Miller uses the word Maine more than main.
3) Anonymous is made up of human beings – human beings are imperfect and quite capable of mistakes. Could it be – perhaps – that some members of Anonymous have axes to grind with these particular men and painting them as KKK members would tarnish their names.
Something to consider.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 5:43 pm
You didn’t correct me on anything. Nowhere did you cite a fact I stated, and prove it was wrong.
FWIW, Anonymous still has Joseph Fleming’s name up on their website, so they haven’t retracted it just yet.
athynz1 November 16th, 2014 at 6:16 pm
You obviously did not read my post. Nor did you answer the question of what degree one has to have to correct others.
1) Fact: I do not know Mr Miller’s educational background. Neither do you. You were wrong to assume that you do based on his post. Correction #1
2) Fact: If Mr Miller uses “Maine” more than “main” or even “mane” then autocorrect would use the more frequently used word on his device. Correction #2
3) Fact: Anonymous is made up of imperfect human beings so by definition they are not perfect. They could be wrong about those they accused or they could have an ax to grind. Not a correction per se but at the same time until there is real proof then – legally these men are innocent of what they are accused of.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 7:01 pm
Neither of those are factual corrections. #2’s premise is bordering on laughable, it might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. In #3, you repeated the same exact thing a second time, and it’s still dumb. There’s no legality or illegality involved here. Want a clue? Stop watching Law and Order and thinking you understand things.
For the 2nd time, nothing has been retracted yet. A number of the people named have fled from/privatized their FB and Twitter accounts, because they’ve obviously been outed as Klan members.
athynz1 November 16th, 2014 at 8:35 pm
Interesting.
The fact you find #2 laughable proves that you have no real idea how autocorrect works. To further explain it for you It uses the most frequently used word with a similar spelling or close to a similar spelling. As Maine has just one more letter than main and is otherwise spelled the same way the autocorrect paradigm simply substituted one for the other. hence not as ridiculous as you attempted to make it sound.
The first correction was correcting your assumption about someone’s education. It is indeed a factual correction as you made the assumption that Mr Miller has no education.
It’s apparent you have no real tolerance towards those who you feel to be wrong which is a sign of a closed mind. In fact I’d venture to say that TheRightIsNeverRight is a fitting name for you as it does show not only your obvious closed mind issue but the fact that you seem to believe that the left is always right. Here’s a fun fact that will blow your mind – neither one is right all of the time nor are they wrong all of the time.
Also reading comprehension is critical. NOWHERE did I indicate anything was retracted. Nor did I indicate that the man accused are not KKK members. I simply postulated two alternate theories one being that Anonymous was wrong in their identification or two anonymous had an ax to grind. Another issue you have a closed mind about. And yes I am well aware that a public internet forum is not a courtroom – however the same principle that guides our legal system i.e. innocent until proven guilty can also be practiced elsewhere.
BTW you never did answer the question of exactly what degree one had to have to correct someone on the internet. So which one is it? And do you possess that degree to correct me and others?
Have a nice evening.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 10:05 pm
It’s amazing how easily someone like you can be tilted. Good God. You’re having a nervous breakdown over two people unrelated to you having a conversation you weren’t involved in, almost a full day ago.
BTW, the screenname is simple online snark, intended to annoy crazy right-wing people on one particular website where I post. Another thing your grape-thin skin can’t handle, apparently. Try not taking life so seriously.
And, in closing, your autocorrect tirades, which now number 3 in total, are still idiotic and incorrect. I’m sure a 4th is forthcoming, though. Rant away.
athynz1 November 17th, 2014 at 8:53 am
You attribute feeling to me that I simply do not have about some random person on the net. You are quite incapable of “tilting” me or causing me to have a nervous breakdown – the idea is as you say laughable. I was addressing your rudeness and ignorance.
As for my autocorrect tirades being incorrect – again it’s apparent you have no idea how it works and I’m done with attempting to educate you.
BTW it’s the person who lacks a leg to stand on who start hurling the first insult.
So what was that degree again?

What I find more interesting is that most posters on here hide their own true identity as does Anonymous and that everyone the moderators disagree with they shut down their speech. I won’t hide behind a screen name because I fear nothing nor am I racist. I’m conservative and frequently listened to Alan Colmes’ late night radio show a few years back. I did so because I believe everyone has a God given right to their own opinion and constitutional right to free speech as hateful as it may be or not. However, it appears that liberals don’t agree and love nothing more than to shut down speech they disagree with. Carry on as you may. No need to hate as I won’t be back to this sight again. That’s me, right there, white, liberal, and proud! I’ve had a few run-ins with the Klan on the streets of my southern OH town, and I hate everything they stand for. And I told them that, to their faces, which were covered, while mine was not. I am not Anonymous, either, although I identify with them in what they are doing, when they unhood a Klansman. No one is denying the Klan their right to free speech. You couldn’t be more wrong, when you say that liberals love to shut down speech with which they disagree. It may be true of some, but not of this liberal. It is your right to say, ‘May God bless you all.’ But, as a non-believer, please don’t include me.
rwgate November 17th, 2014 at 2:00 pm
Actually, no one has shut down the Klan’s speech. Have they been identified? In some cases, yes. But they can still say anything they want. I also see some people here complaining that by showing their identities, they are violating the Klan member’s civil rights. Unfortunately there is no right to remain anonymous, so they should just proudly pull back their hoods and let everyone know who they are. If they are so proud of their hatred and bigotry why not let people know who they are?
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 1:09 am
Like any sensible American, I think the Klan is as vile as can be. I grew up in the Deep South, am a 13th generation purebred Southerner and a direct descendant of Confederate and Continental Army veterans. I know my American history and the principles this nation was founded upon and the Klan is unAmerican, as far as I am concerned.
So is Anonymous.
We are moved to cheer them when they act against a group like this, but I ask all of you to consider what you know about human nature when there is power in the hands of people with no oversight, no checks and balances and no recourse when they do wrong? In such cases, it does not take long for them to use their power for doing wrong. It is the case with all who have had unchecked power through history and Anonymous is not immune to the temptations of human nature and the fallibility we all have. This is why our American system is set up as it is.
We must stick with our American principles, even though the lure to abandon them for the sake of expediency is so juicy.
Anonymous should take this to the authorities quietly, and that’s it.
The other day I was just thumbing through a book by Judge Andrew Napolitano about the abuse of power. In a chapter about no-knock warrants, he gave example after example where the local cops or FBI busted into someone’s house and there was gunfire and an innocent citizen was killed because they raided the wrong house. If the cops can make mistakes, so can Anonymous, but what is the recourse?
The good news is the Klan is shot through with FBI agents or informants. This is why they are little more than just talk. When they try to commit some crime, they often get rounded up before they pull it off. I recall at least one occasion where the leader of a major Klan group was an FBI agent.
I also do not believe those who came crowding in to protest their innocence here. It’s too organized looking. The chap from Bosnia tickled my funny bone….
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:12 am
They’re not abusing power in any way, shape, or form. And they haven’t done anything wrong. If they do, then the wronged party, has the same set of remedies anyone else is America does …. the criminal and/or civil justice system.
What’s the harm in these people’s identities being revealed? They stand for hate, destruction, and death. They have no right to anonymity.
burqa November 16th, 2014 at 1:29 am
You think they are immune to the same temptations every benign dictator fell to through history?
Have you ever heard the expression “absolute power corrupts absolutely”?
People have a right to privacy.
They have a right to free speech.
They have a right to face an accuser in a court of law and to cross examine evidence as well as the means with which that evidence was gathered.
They have the right to sue for slander or libel, but how does someone sue Anonymous, when they are above the law?
Even if a person is guilty as alleged, they still have the right to sue.
In the above ways, Anonymous is unAmerican and what they do is contrary to the principles this nation was founded upon.
Don’t let the emotional satisfaction of outing the Klan lead you to abandon rights and principles that cost this nation dearly to establish, defend and maintain.
We can’t have a country where we and our pals have rights we deny to those we don’t like.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:30 am
Exactly
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:32 am
Their free speech wasn’t violated. Learn what free speech is before making this comment.
They don’t have any right to privacy when it comes to belonging to an organization such as the Klan.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:36 am
Oh but nothing to say when it comes to facing their accusers? Just avoid the points that discount your position, that’s very intellectually dishonest.
TheRightIsNeverRight November 16th, 2014 at 1:40 am
You’ve posted so many times in a rambling, incoherent fashion in this thread that responding to everything is impossible.
If they end up in court, their lawyers can make moves to unmask Anonymous, same as any other case involving Internet postings. Since they have nothing criminal or civil to pursue if they’re Klan members, this is moot anyway.
Don’t catch an attitude, conservative. You’re an angry idiot.
Benjamin Miner November 16th, 2014 at 1:47 am
Actually I’m neither a conservative or angry, and I most certainly not an idiot.
“You’ve posted so many times in a rambling, incoherent fashion.”

SVII November 16th, 2014 at 4:36 am
How so?
lairdp November 16th, 2014 at 9:51 am
Treason and sedition against the United States is pretty much un-American by definition.
SVII November 16th, 2014 at 11:46 am
Secession was always a lawful option for the States in fact it was at least one northern state that first considered seceding so as to cut ties with the southern states. A strong centralized power was never the intention of most of the founders. Separating from a Govt. headed by an executive with dictatorial powers is the very first American principle. Otherwise by your definition the first “Americans” were “un-American”. Gotta go beyond middle school social studies bro.

Look up the definition of treason. Then you’ll be able to refyte your own “argument”.
SVII November 21st, 2014 at 12:22 pm
By your standards the U.S. itself is illegitimate & should be subject to the British Crown. Unless it simply comes down to “whoever wins is right”.
Easy_to_Refute_Wingnuts November 22nd, 2014 at 5:48 pm
You have no idea what my standards are. Perhaps it’s because you have no standards of your own, which is why you wish for treason to be committed against the country.

There is absolutely ZERO difference between the KKK and the NBP (new black panthers)….except in the words of Al Sharptongue and Jesse Jackass…. skin color. They’re both rabid racist organizations formed by Democrats. As far as I’m concerned, they could kill each other off and the whole country would benefit.

On top of what you’ve said, people who claim racism goes both ways conveniently ignore the fact that white people have been dominating this country for the past several hundred years. Fighting for more black power is akin to fighting for equality. Fighting for white power is akin to fighting for oppression. I say this as a white man.

Prejudice goes both ways; any person of any race can be prejudiced against someone else. However actual RACISM requires organized and institutionalized action on behalf of a SOCIETY to keep people of different races at different levels of social status. That is why white people who say “Yeah, well a black guy called me cracker one time, so I’m just as much a victim as his enslaved ancestors” are complete fucking idiots.

Then the racist Democrats, (who were Democrats because the end of slavery damaged the economy of the south, and FDR’s policies did a lot to restore it), all became Republicans, the “Southern Strategy” was born and the South has been solidly Red ever since.

I’m re posting my status update here, since I feel it’s pretty relevant:
I’ve been trying to put a finger on why I care so much about abuse of force and police brutality these days, and I think I finally figured it out. It all comes back to the Marine Corps… Lol
I’ve spent the last 4.5 years getting told how hazing was zero-tolerance. That no matter how fucked up a kid was, you didn’t have the right to yoke him up and take him to the treeline to “sort shit out” like in the old days.
We were always given a daily reminder that for all the hate, rage, and potential for sheer destruction we had lying dormant inside (because all junior Marines are a walking safety brief waiting to happen), we could never lash out or step outside our lane without facing serious consequences.
A few years later, I become a civilian again and see a bunch of try hard cops pretending to be a cross between PMO and MARSOC. And when these guys “haze” the shit out of the population, it’s acceptable. Why?
Because shifty looking or bad minorities are primarily the ones who get caught up in it? Because we’re all tired of shitbags and really couldn’t care less what “criminals” get fucked up? When swift justice becomes the replacement for a court of law in which a person is innocent until proven guilty, I definitely start feeling like I’m under the thumb of someone’s interpretation of the UCMJ all over again. It’s this sort of fundamentalism that we’re fighting against in the Middle East, and I sure as hell don’t plan to sit idly by while it happens here.
“Civies” have it great, but they have to be some of the most ignorant people I’ve ever met. But hey, I didn’t know what I had till it was gone either.
Beautiful SeeAsia November 16th, 2014 at 3:40 am
its all madness. ALL of this media influenced bullsh*t while real lives are affected. Protesters from months ago are still incarcerated. Children from Ferguson were being fingerprinted. A young person is still shot dead. And disrespectfully there have been no resolve. Just a small warped town used as a social experiment for racial tensions. Which is how this country came to be in the first place. A huge social experiment for some flea bitten punks to get rich. It was a come up. A group of europeans trained by Moors for how to establish and run a land while wiping out one group of people – the indigenous – and then slaving, torturing another. Meanwhile plenty of those currenly rich from free labor and domestic terrorism on this land, they were made indescribably wealthy. We can’t even fathom how much (fictious but somehow made real) money these f*ckers made from the backs of babies, women and children who are ALL of our ancestors no matter your race. Since race doesn’t exist in the hereafter or spirit realm. So we are all impacted by this social experiment that have made all of the BANKERS who finance every ounce of fu*kery this country participates in – including agent provacateur sh*t like this. I smell agents all over this entire ordeal. The tweeting, sponsoring, hashtagging, hoodsmen, instigating, all of it is banker funded at the end of the day. For us so called basic “V” for Vendetta folks to squabble about on the bottom and in the end. And how white folks have a problem with blackness is beyond me. We’re floating in a black universe – the space of your mama’s womb is blackness – that portal you came through is blackness – civilization of humanity started in black ass Africa – thought and ideas start off in black. And for a hot second when the hood is going over their heads, there’s a moment of blackness. What the hell is the problem? Oh it was created to teach you to hate it. And white supremacy, oppression and abuses of a people created “Niggas” – a mentality – one that disappoints me as well. But I know what fashioned it. It’s an ugly spell, a horrible cast and a serious evil realm of sorcery on my people. OUR people. Can’t fools tell to a very large extent if not THEE extent, we ARE one whether we like it or not. What affects you, impacts me. Regardless of our cultures, backgrounds, distance, race, values, lifestyle choices. And meanwhile, rich people who sponsor this huge misunderstanding had about “race” – they get to go home to their wives where plenty of them are BLACK. When they need a good sexual fantasy “the sisters” are called upon. Especically Klans kids. They’re just repressed people who have a deep down fantasy about what they claim to hate and it forms into something ugly. One good sister on the jocks of those tatted baldhead boys would rock their worlds. And those Mammie looking white gals just need a good Mandigo slammer and she’s leaving his hairy beer drinking ugly ass. Racism = I hate those “N*ggers* at the dinner table in front of his/her family. But one of the top Craigslist tricks “buying” black sex. Everyone cut the sh*t. Good night.

mea_mark November 16th, 2014 at 2:27 pm
Depends on the context. Personal attacks are frowned upon heavily. Expressions of disgust toward something in a story is acceptable to a point. Language filters do however catch bad words and will throw your comment into pending and will need to be cleared by a moderator. Sometimes that is fast sometimes it can be awhile if no one is around. Be very careful in the middle of the night as it may not post till morning.
Rule of thumb — If you think you shouldn’t post it, you probably shouldn’t.

Why doesn’t anonymous expose the blatant cover up of this murder in Ferguson? It seems like they’d have no trouble penetrating any police file system and find the suppressed evidence of this pig initiating contact, instigating violence and ending w/ a murder. Anonymous should expose those scum. Maybe all the bigots cheering the murder would finally STFU and see that they’re only cheer the pigs because they’ve been brainwashed to always support them.
Bob Scully November 16th, 2014 at 11:29 am
Perhaps Anonymous already perused the pertinent documents and found what the Grand Jury is rumored to have also found: that the officer’s account of the incident holds the truth. Perhaps they found the shooting justified. If your business depends on victimhood (Al, Jesse) you might not like it to be known that the black man in question was not, in fact, a victim.

The Dixiecrats became Republican’s in the early 1960’s. There are members of the Senate, House, and yes the President that weren’t even born during the reign of the Dixiecrats.

Let’s see, the racist Democrats joined the party that promoted black freedom?
BreitbartLovesEwe November 16th, 2014 at 1:12 pm
Yes. Like Strom Thurmond.
George Wallace left the Democrats to become an independent. Robert F. Byrd renounced his membership in the KKK, although it should be pointed out that the W.Va chapter didn’t engage in the sort of widespread murderous and criminal behavior the organization was known for.
A generation later, famous Republican Senate Leader Trent Lott donned minstrel show make-up to entertain his friends at the Conservative Citizen’s Council, a school segregationist group and heir to its similarly aliterative predecessor.
Allan Kim Harrison November 16th, 2014 at 1:23 pm
Yes, the Republicans have denounced racism and bigotry as well. The left has no forgiveness for they’re transgressions while ignoring the Democrat history. It’s actually a constant drum beat with the left to say the right is racist.
BreitbartLovesEwe November 16th, 2014 at 1:36 pm
Republicans once were a party of progressivism and worked along with Northern Democrats to end slavery in the South. On the other hand, Southern Democrats exploited widespread racism in their states to defeat Republicans and instituted Jim Crow laws to protect their privilege. That all ended with the Civil Rights Acts of ’64 and ’65 when the racists were essentially kicked out of the party; Republicans helping in some small measure by voting to overcome a two-thirds proceedural vote in the Senate in order to bring those measures to a vote. Other than that, Republicans weren’t needed to pass the CRAs because they were such a tiny minority in both houses at the time. Northern Democrats, just like in the days of the Civil War, were the most significant agitators to ensure the full civil rights for Americans. Since those days, the Republicans have learned to exploit latent racism in order to stimulate their base; witness “Willie Horton” ad and the other work of Republican strategists Lee Atwater and Karl Rove et al.
Carla Akins November 16th, 2014 at 4:05 pm

Many of us Canadians are confused by the U.S. midterm

America is leading the world once again and respected

So, Americans vote for the party that got you into the

When you are done with Obama, could you send him our way?

Greetings from Hollywood.
You make it sound like Spike Lee and David Ehrenstein invented the term. The “Magic Negro” trope is well known in the industry, and in fact has a page all to itself at the TV tropes site.
Spike Lee’s argument is that it is offensive and racist whenever used, and he’s right, it is, inasmuch as it casts blacks in a supporting role to white success, and the LA times editorial by David Ehrenstein makes the same point, in describing Obama’s support among a certain sector of white liberals.
The song “Barack the Magic Negro” has nothing to do with this, and is merely a set of boilerplate racist insults to Barack Obama, which is why Rush Limbaugh really likes it.
I assume that you like it for the same reason.
arc99 November 16th, 2014 at 12:30 pm

What ABOUT Robert Byrd? He strongly and publicly renounced the Klan years ago and backed a number of civil rights measures afterwards, but ignorant knobs keep bringing him up with this phony “just-asking” approach that indicates that they have no clue what they’re talking about but want to stir the pot. Trying to compare him against the vicious, unrepentant bigots that make up the GOP today just strengthens the contrast between the parties.
Wikipedia: (quote) In his last autobiography, Byrd explained that he was a KKK member because he “was sorely afflicted with tunnel vision — a jejune and immature outlook — seeing only what I wanted to see because I thought
the Klan could provide an outlet for my talents and ambitions.” Byrd also said, in 2005, “I know now I was wrong. Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times … and I don’t mind apologizing over and over again. I can’t erase what happened.” (/endquote)

yep- all of them are snuggled in and hunkering down at the strongest part of the base of today’s republican party- that is exactly where they are.
Nobody of Consequence November 16th, 2014 at 3:37 pm
Yes and no. It’s a bit more complicated than that. But basically, after the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the Southern Democrats felt betrayed by the rest of the party. In 1968 they broke off from the DNC to nominate George Wallace. After Humphry was nominated at the convention, Kevin Philips, Nixon’s strategist, helped get George Wallace on the ballot to make sure the southern states wouldn’t vote Democrat. The plan was to get Nixon into office, then use racially coded language to appeal to the Southerners in 1972. It worked really, really well. The only reason Carter was elected in 1976 was because he was the DNC nominee after Watergate and Ford managing to make himself look like a clueless boob. It didn’t hurt that he had a southern drawl.
The only Dixiecrats to switch to being GOPers were Strom Thurmond, and Jesse Helms. They managed to hold onto office for the rest of their careers. The rest of the Dixiecrats lost their offices through the 1970s since the label of Democrat was equal to “Supporting the Civil Rights Act.” Bird was the only exception to both. He stayed in the DNC after having to renounce his Klan past. He managed to stay in office because he was pro-labor in WV which was a big deal in coal country.
The south became solidly GOP by 1980, mainly with Lee Atwater building on the foundation of Philips’ Southern Strategy. In a 1981 interview, Lee Atwater went into great detail about how they specifically used racial codewords in Reagan’s southern speeches.
So you are, for the most part, correct, but your statement is missing a broader historical context. While the contemporary Southern GOPers may not be Klan members themselves, they work pretty hard to get the Klan and angry white guy vote.

Bill123 November 17th, 2014 at 1:42 am
Scully, look up Rep. William Colmer (D-Mississipi). He was the ugliest white supremacist Southern Democrat in the House of Representatives in the 1950s. His chief of staff had a Democrat mentor uncle who was part of the racist gang that assassinated Medgar Evers in Jackson Mississippi, and the uncle helped for the murderer’s successful defense in his murder trial.
Democrat Colmer wouldn’t spit on the ground a black person walked on for fear of contaminating his saliva, and he voted for Republican Richard Nixon in 1960. Democrat Colmer voted for Republican Barry Goldwater in 1968, and that unapologetic white supremacist Democrat voted for Republican Richard Nixon again in 1968.
In 1972, Democrat Colmer decided to retire and pass the baton to someone worthy of his seat in Congress. So he did. Democrat Colmer’s chief of staff first switched to the Republican Party, and then he ran in 1972 as a supporter of Nixon policies. He won his mentor’s seat in Congress.
In 2001, in the 21st century, that same man went to a birthday party and praised the white supremacist presidential campaign of Strom Thurmond.
At that time, he was the Senate Majority Leader, but in 1972, Trent Lott was one of the racist Democrats who became Republicans after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 were passed by a Democratic House and Senate.
Yep, Scully, all of the lowlifes who have praised white supremacists in the 21st century have been Republicans.
Don’t like the cold hard facts of GOP racism? Suck on it.

The First Amendment does not protect speech that undermines public safety for example speech that would incite a riot. And as much as I totally hate the patriot act…. the fact is that this is the original domestic terrorist group in the country and were given that title long before the patriot act was ever enacted. So they are subject to the same treatment as a suicide bomber under the current law.The KKK is not a law enforcement agency and has no legal authority to decide which protestors are in violation of laws and which ones are not nor do its members have the right to discipline lawbreakers. Take off your hoods and use your badges and be racists legally. Saying they think we are subhuman and promoting white supremacy is one thing. Issuing threats of force in a situation where tensions, are already high is another. No hollering fire in a crowded theatre.
adplatt126 November 16th, 2014 at 9:14 pm
Nonsense. The KKK is well within their rights to inform private citizens of their right to self-defense and indeed to protect private citizens in accordance with the letter of the law and to the extent the law allows. “Yelling fire in a theatre” is an entirely unrelated issue, wherein such an utterance would lead to imminent public harm. Such is not the case here at all. In fact, that no one has started shooting random blacks and the community has not broken out in pandemonium is definitive evidence of the bankruptcy of your argument. Stop persecuting people with different political opinions who’ve committed no crime, like a consummate totalitarian, and start prosecuting those who are actually doing harm, namely “peaceful protesters”, who attack cops, burn businesses and harm white people whenever the opportunity arises. You don’t hate the Patriot Act. Get off of it. LOL, what a total liar. HAHA, good god. “I hate the Patriot Act but it’s time to declare Martial Law and start indefinitely detaining people who have committed no crime, because someone passed out some pamphlets”. If you have to hide your cowardly acts under a hood you know what you’re doing is wrong. The hilarious thing is these “peaceful protesters” for the most part claim to be “Christian” (which means Christ-like) and the same inbreds that burn crosses hate Jews! adplatt126 November 16th, 2014 at 11:45 pm
You are and always were an order of magnitude more likely to be killed by a black thug than a white KKK member. A little bit of terror was a useful, albeit morally imperfect tool to prevent the problems in the black community from infecting the whole community. Now they are eating away at our entire society. Not really a worthwhile cost for diversity, inclusion and integration in my humble opinion. On the other hand, your ideological hatred of whites certainly certifies you as a hater in your own right. “Inbreds”, “imbeciles”, etc. Stereotype much? Which groups you’re willing to stereotype betrays little more than your own cowardice. All hail your oligarchic overlords and their PC allowances. Certainly there were excesses in the treatment of KKK members towards minority groups. There are excesses vice versa. There are excesses in the protection of Israel from Palestinian savages. This doesn’t mean these excesses were not often provoked, or that the basic policy is incorrect.

Subjugating a group you consider inferior with violence and fear is the act of bigots and bullies – two things the KKK has proven time and again of be made of. You claim the can is defending society. The premise of this nation is equal opportunity and tolerance of one another. The KKK’s attempts to keep a small group of white men in control of the minds, wealth, and laws of this nation are completely counter to the tenants it was founded upon.

I did not say anyone should be indefinitely detained. For someone so superior you need to read more clearly. I said that you are not protected when you come in like vigilantes talking about using force on other people who you arbitrarily deem to be in violation of the law. If you love the cops so much let them do their job and go burn a cross somewhere. Your threat is a violation of the First Amendment and people doing and saying less incendiary things are being subjected to much worse treatment including some of the white people out there you are so worried about protecting. Waking up a sleeping giant indeed! More like luring degenerates out of hiding.
Oh and some people I know who are decent and loving individuals happen to be poor and live in trailers. Can we stop insulting them by associating them with these hatemongers? Bigots come in all classes and colors.

The KKK always had law enforcement in its ranks. Nothing new. Not surprised. If a cop was,a member of some Muslim “terrorist” group how quick he would be sitting in some cell. But being a member of the KKK is just fine. I am so done. This country is run by sociopaths.

The irony of course is that the Klan, much as was the case about half the time throughout history, is acting defensively rather than aggressively. Fact is, the local Klan is protecting local citizens and local businesses from gangs of idiots hellbent on mob violence, looting, arson and general lawlessness. But instead of blaming the people actually burning things, you idiots blame a bunch of guy in hoods who are virtually powerless politically and socially. What a bunch of cowards. Why not blame the actual culprits? Afraid of being called racists? So, they’re out there protecting you in other words. You may not like the means by which they do so, but their aim is clear. And besides, truth be told, force is sometimes perfectly just and indeed quite useful. You just don’t see that because you’re deluded ideologues brainwashed into associating anything connected to the KKK with evil by a very, very dishonest oligarchy / media cabal. The truth however is quite obvious to anyone not entirely a coward. The Klan has harmed no one in this situation. The mobs of youths on the other hand have caused god knows how much damage to the local community and economy. Join up or shut up. Mindless sheep.

Do you not see the irony in insulting someone by sheer stereotype (“trailer park inbred”) regarding their supposed evil tribalism (hypocrisy) or the compounded irony in doing so, without having learned yourself proper punctuation or even the grade-school art of capitalization? I do not hide my political opinions. Cowards are those who pick on powerless people, like KKK members (the most marginalized minority in the nation) and ignore the crimes of the actual culprits (“innocent”, “peaceful” protesters, throwing rocks, bricks and molotov cocktails at cops, and looting stores in their own communities, because someone with similar colored skin was shot in all likelihood justifiably by a police officer) because they’re fearful of being called racists by the power structure and those with influence, whose political persuasions are entirely dictated by the mandates of the cultural zeitgeist.

As long as all accept the decision of the grand jury, regardless of what it is, and there is no rioting, everything will be okay. If there is rioting, I would not expect the cops to stay out of it. That would be anarchy and I would oppose that. I personally would fight to oppose that. Yes, the KKK should stay out of it. For that matter, anonymous, especially a group from Australia should stay out of it. Their actions have just made targets of the people they have identified, even if they made a mistake. I hope no one is hurt because of their misguided actions. They have actually given the KKK some credibility they don’t deserve.
whatthe46 November 18th, 2014 at 12:46 am
credibility they don’t deserve? they are not getting any credibility. they are getting ousted. and the P.D. and the community deserves to know the cops that are involved in these groups. and i could care less if they are from Australia. quite frankly, that’s just a bigger embarrassment for this country and because this country seems not to be doing a damn thing about the KKK and their actions, i hope they continue doing what they’re doing. who cares if they are now targets? they target innocent people constantly and have murdered innocent people throughout history. i’m sure many (especially cops) are biting their nails hoping they won’t be ousted next. and i’m loving that thought.
R Wing November 18th, 2014 at 1:39 am
Your comments demonstrate exactly the point I was trying to make. You believe anonymous has “ousted” sic the KKK. You haven’t even considered the possibility that they may have named innocent people who are not members of that group. What information did they use to determine who it’s members were? Is it legitimate? If you can’t answer those questions definitively, you have been victimized and hoodwinked by anonymous. You state that it’s wrong for the KKK to target innocent people constantly, yet you seem to think it’s appropriate for anonymous to do the same. What if they came out and named you as a member of the KKK next? The KKK is just a remnant of a nearly dead group. They’re a fringe element that consists of a handful of people with inferiority complexes. Even putting their leader on the news and now making a big story out of this gives them credibility they don’t deserve. You make them appear to be a credible group of armed racist citizens. They are not that. They are a fringe group of individuals.
whatthe46 November 18th, 2014 at 2:00 am
“What if they came out and named you as a member of the KKK next?” now that would be funny. “You make them appear to be a credible group of armed racist citizens.” BECAUSE THEY ARE!!! how old are you 12? clearly you are uneducated on the matter and thus, should not speak on such. that are you’re just willfully ignorant. which is it?
R Wing November 18th, 2014 at 2:12 am

They are not credible at all. You are the one making them credible. You just don’t get it. Let me type slowly. YOU ARE THE ONE MAKING THEM CREDIBLE.” WAS THAT SLOW ENOUGH FOR YOU? BTW, I’m quite well educated on the issue and apparently much, much older than you. I also know the difference between ousted and outed.
whatthe46 November 18th, 2014 at 2:26 am
fine. they were “outed.” better? so what part of they are not a group of racist armed citizens, since you’re aware of their history, is a lie? they are RACIST! they are ARMED and they are CITIZENS. they are MURDRERS! you seem to have some kinda love for them? truly confusing, that unless you’re one of them. you can copy and paste your argument all night long, and it won’t change a thing. they are cops, business men/women, potliticians, trailer trash, etc. they are a hateful group of ignorant ba*tards that need to just go away. they are an embarrassment to this country and so are supporters like yourself. they breed children specifically to continue the ignorance they so embrace. in my opinion, child abuse. they support wilson only because a young black teen was shot down in the middle of the street and the people of this country (and the world is watching) want justice. not just “minorities” but the majority of the population wants justice for brown and his family. and what does the KKK do, they insist on intimidation and treats of violence. nothing knew. and now they are feeling what it’s like to be intimidated and harrassed. and how many people have you seen thus far appear on national t.v. denouncing the claim that they are in fact members that were outed by Anonymous? NONE. NADA. ZERO.
Axekick November 18th, 2014 at 7:22 am
“As long as all accept the decision of the grand jury, regardless of what it is, and there is no rioting, everything will be okay.”
Really . . . Michael Brown will be okay? Michael Brown’s friends, family and loved ones will be okay?
Anonymous is not a group from Australia, they are a group from every continent, country and state in the world(sans Antarctica). Until people realize this they will continue to underestimate them and therefore repeat the same mistakes as previous fools.
R Wing November 18th, 2014 at 6:11 pm
I’m well aware of what anonymous is. The group who has targeted the KKK is from Australia. That is what I was referring to. Actually, they are not even a group. They are a mishmash of like minded individuals. They have done some very good things, such as bringing false accusations to light, and shining light on public corruption. I actually follow the groups activities to some extent. I don’t agree with all they do, but I don’t condemn them either.
As for Brown being OK, of course he won’t be, nor will his family ever be satisfied. However, if the evidence shows the officer acted appropriately and a decision is made to pursue the case no further, the people should be willing to accept that. That would mean that Brown was responsible for the outcome of his own actions. That should be accepted without rioting. If it is determined that it should go to trial, then it should be tried and the outcome of the trial should be the determining factor.
Axekick November 18th, 2014 at 9:39 pm

even if there’s no indictment on the state level, it doesn’t mean that it goes away. new evidence can be presented later or the feds can take over and he can be prosecuted for civil rights violation. so, don’t get to overjoyed that a murderer may get away. although i know you are hoping like hell.
R Wing November 18th, 2014 at 10:24 pm
You’re correct. No double jeopardy with a grand jury. I’m aware the feds can also prosecute for civil rights violations. But they’d need to have pretty much the same evidence that would be used in a state trial. I am not hoping for a murderer to get away with anything. If he’s guilty, let him pay. I have only stated that the process must be allowed to work. We can not make judgments made on rumors, innuendo, or false accusations. That is what the people rioting are doing. That is what you are doing.
whatthe46 November 18th, 2014 at 11:00 pm
because the GJ is secret, we have no idea what evidence the D.A. is presenting. and, i don’t have faith in the D.A. at all!!! my judgment by the way, is based on a teen that was lying in the middle of the street with 6 holes in his body, including 2 to the head, who happened to be 35 ft away and unarmed, shot by a racist cop, who was peeved that brown wasn’t walking out of the street fast enough. yeah, i’m judging.
Emmica Bunneh November 18th, 2014 at 12:19 am
“Allow the law to work as it should”? NEWSFLASH: THE LAW DOESN’T WORK; THAT’S THE PROBLEM. People have a right to be pissed about racism and to fight it. It’s insulting to suggest that people should just accept a potentially racist verdict and be okay with it. That’s like saying we might as well just accept racism as is and not fight it. I could understand not condoning violence, but saying that everyone should just accept “the law” (which is created by a system of racism) is ridiculous. And there’s a difference between violence and self defense. If the police or other authority figures or organizations unjustly threaten or harm protesters then damn straight the protesters should fight back.
R Wing November 18th, 2014 at 1:54 am
You haven’t a clue, do you? How can the law work when you haven’t given it a chance. There were people protesting at the scene of the shooting, making statements that weren’t true before it was even being investigated. The cops can’t still be at the scene and have people like you claiming the law doesn’t work. My God, you have to give it a chance. There has to be an investigation. Even you have said it’s a “potential” racist verdict. What you are actually saying is that it will be a racist verdict if they choose not to indict the officer, but it won’t be a racist verdict if they do choose to indict. Yet you have none of the evidence that the grand jury has. You think you are above the law. You state there’s a difference between violence and self defense. Again you are being hypocritical. You’re actually saying it’s wrong if the police are trying to stop the violence, then they are being violent and that gives the rioters the right to be violent. Sorry, that’s not the way it works. If the rioters are breaking the law, they need to be stopped. If they react violently, they are the ones who are forcing the police to defend themselves. That’s the way it is and the way it should be. Apparently, you don’t consider that the original incident started with violence and self defense. The rational people of this country have been waiting to see what the evidence shows. to see who was acting in what capacity. The rational people will look at that evidence and will decide whether to agree with it or not. The irrational people, like you, will only accept that verdict if the grand jury chooses to indict. You will choose to ignore the evidence if the grand jury decides the officer was justified. If you believed in the rule of law, you would accept the decision and would not protest. Once you start protesting, you are stating you don’t believe in the rule of law. THAT IS WHY THE LAW WON’T WORK. SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU CHOOSE NOT TO LET IT WORK. YOU AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE THE PROBLEM, NOT THE POLICE.
Axekick November 18th, 2014 at 7:16 am
Actually she had well articulated opinions and comment.
The way the law should work is when you kill someone you receive a trial. When you are sent to a grand jury(rarely for murder) testimony usually takes less than a day.
When a cop kills someone in St. Louis and is sent to a grand jury they are NEVER found guilty because it is a rigged and secretive system.
This never was a grand jury case, the cop should have been telling his story to an actual jury rather than immediately being guided by his union representative on what to do, what to say, what not to do, what not to say, etc…
People like you, the ignorant, are the real problem
now turn your caps lock off, grow up, read a newspaper and keep an open mind while doing so.

Speaking of ignorant, look in the mirror. It is not necessary to even send something like this to a grand jury. In fact, it’s relatively rare that it is. When anything is sent to a grand jury, there is a very low level of proof needed to send it along further. If something doesn’t get through the grand jury, it means there is not enough evidence to even warrant sending it to trial. If there is the slightest question, it will be sent to trial. Also, just so you know, a Grand Jury does not ever find anyone guilty because that is not their job. They do not determine guilt of innocence. They only determine if there is enough evidence to send it to trial. Perhaps you are the one who should read a newspaper and keep an open mind. It’s obvious you don’t have one. You are another who has determined the persons guilt without knowing any of the facts of the case. BTW, I believe evaluating the evidence and then making a decision is keeping an open mind. That is what I am doing. That is not what you are doing.
Axekick November 18th, 2014 at 9:51 pm
Son, a grand jury is completely controlled by the prosecutor who in this case is a former St. Louis police officer. Hearsay is permissible so they don’t necessarily depend on facts to persuade the jurors decision.
If by “very low level of proof needed” you meant a super majority of jurors, then you are correct. How you determine a super majority to be “a very low level” escapes me.
A trial is where you can “evaluate evidence” and only evidence in a fair unbiased setting. A grand jury is where you permit the prosecutor(the former police officer) to determine the fate of the accused. Hearsay is not permissible during a criminal trial.
R Wing November 18th, 2014 at 10:12 pm
Exactly. My statement using the “very low level of proof” wording is poorly worded. I wasn’t referring to a super majority. I was implying that evidence that wouldn’t be allowed into a regular trial is allowed into a grand jury hearing. Hearsay being one of those. While the prosecutor does present the evidence to a grand jury, the prosecutor also has the option of not even submitting the case to the grand jury. If he actually wanted to kill the case, he wouldn’t have submitted the case to the grand jury at all. Of course that wouldn’t have been a very smart political move. So it’s possible he didn’t think there was enough evidence to present to the grand jury, but he may have decided to present what he had so he would not be accused of covering something up. In fact, that may very well be what happened. If that’s the case, it would be foolhardy for him to sabotage his own case. Regardless of his motivation, it doesn’t seem that it has made any difference to the people who are protesting.
Axekick November 19th, 2014 at 3:16 am
Well I am a St. Louisan. Although I am white I’ve many black friends, colleagues and a few neighbors. Generally speaking the County Prosecutor is and has long been viewed as an enemy of the minority community here.
Until this happened I was not really aware of how bad the problems in Ferguson were but very aware of it in neighboring communities, scattered throughout St. Louis City & County.
In fairness I do believe that the officer should have faced charges, even if manslaughter so an actual jury could hear the evidence and decide his fate.
The grand jury system allows that the prosecutor controls 100% of what is heard by the jury, including the hearsay. Therefore the prosecutor alone determines guilt or innocence which is obviously a flawed system of justice.
At this point I believe the protests have grown to such a point MORE so because of how the protesters were treated by local police than the shooting of Michael Brown or fate of Darren Wilson. There are young black men shot by police in this area quite frequently, but Ferguson handled this terribly and continues to do so. The Ferguson police chief, in my opinion, is a complete moron. Most police chiefs avoid the media and he races towards it. The day he said Darren Wilson was not aware of the stolen cigars, then moments later claimed he was, then moments later said he didn’t know is just one example. If he cannot communicate more effectively he should not be police chief but in either event it’s more common to have another high ranking officer handle media interviews.
whatthe46 November 19th, 2014 at 3:36 am
in that same announcement to the media, he also said he knew nothing of any injuries that wilson said he had received (broken eye socket). that statement was made days after the shooting.
Axekick November 19th, 2014 at 3:55 am
Correct and I find that hard to believe based on the casual posture with which Wilson was seen walking in the recently released videos following the incident. I’ve never had my own orbital eye socket broken but broke someone elses and have witnessed two others get theirs broken. They appear excruciating, not the type of injury that would allow you to casually go about business as usual. It is more common to temporarily lose your ability to see clearly and not be able to open your mouth to properly enunciate your words. Of course you can produce an xray of a broken eye socket and nobody will be able to know whose x-ray it actually is.
I believe he met with the police union representative who instructed him on what to do and he followed those suggestions by keeping a low profile and avoiding all media. They baffled the public with so much bullshit that people were not even interested in questioning them any longer because they knew they would not receive straight answers.
Here are fifteen questions for Darren Wilson that I believe if asked before the grand jury, would ensure charges were brought. They are not trick questions or baiting, they are pertinent to the reports of the incident.

It’s the Police that are breaking the law. Ferguson is a town not a war zone. Wilson assassinated that kid and we all KNOW it unless you are just blind to racism!
R Wing November 18th, 2014 at 6:01 pm
If the police are breaking the law, let it be handled legally. How can you possibly know Wilson assassinated anyone? You haven’t heard the evidence. All you have heard are biased news reports. News reports from both sides, by the way. Police break the law and are often protected by each other. I am not unaware of that. If that happened in this case, the evidence will show it. If there is even the slightest credible evidence submitted to the grand jury, it will go to trial to be further evaluated by a regular jury. If there is no credible evidence, it will not even go to trial. Until the legal process is over, I am not going to make any judgement. I only wish all others would do the same. You can not use news reports and accusations from others, to determine guilt.

thats funny I watch the law in action lately.. I told my son today to wave down a cop.. He missed a court date and he has a warrant and the guy tried to turn himself in 4 times.. The dont take him..

Someone needs to start a group that will get rid of ALL the racist groups not just the KKK or black panthers and stand up for Americans! Right is right and wrong is wrong …. let the judges do their job!

you think they’re “whining” because they wear hoods? they’re taking action because a bunch of white trash hicks threatened lethal violence against fellow human beings who are exercising their First Amendment right. get a clue
Dan November 18th, 2014 at 11:21 am
Unless protesters have their way everything will be considered racist these days. There’s no winning any argument. There’s no such thing as a cop having self defense. If Brown would have shot the cop dead all the protesters would be happy sitting in their homes. Until the next time a young kid tries to grab a gun of a police officer and then intimidates him again as if he’s going to come at him a second time. It sounds like law and order is being threatened in this country. If we lose law and order this country will go down quickly. Nothing better than what we see in Iraq. You cannot be in a civilized society with no law and order and no justice with authority.

If the Klans mssion is to subvert and intimidate then they wont prevail. A message to the Klan: You weren’t there so stfu. Ppl in that community was present when Michael Brown was unarmed and gunned down like a effn dog. So if u weren’t there then stfu period! A message to the Gang Bangers: If u use violence to solve this problem then u will become victims as well because force begets force. This is what Michael Brown fell victim to. Don’t make same mistake or your lives and your concerns will be an unfortunate part of this narrative. Dont let Satan beguile you! May God keep and blessu all! I’m praying the strong hold over Ferguson will be destroyed!

With all of the talk about equality, justice, and the war on terror; it takes a hacker group to finally stand up and try to take down the KKK. Amazingly shocking.
Greg November 18th, 2014 at 4:15 pm
Well, unfortunately (I guess?) the KKK has to break the law to warrant government action. A stupid, ignorant group to be sure though.
John Henry November 18th, 2014 at 4:32 pm
Not if you are correctly labeled as a terrorist organization. There is a well documented history of the KKK performing the same sorts of acts as any other “terrorist” organization.
As far as I’m concerned any one still flying the “enemy flag” that was used to rebel and wage war against the legitimate US Government should be investigated for sedition or treason.
truthseeker2436577@yahoo.com November 18th, 2014 at 4:38 pm
Exactly. The Klan has broke the law a lot of times from burning religious buildings to terrorizing black people.
John Henry November 18th, 2014 at 4:53 pm
I know. People are quick to make excuses for racist terrorist until they mess up and hurt another white person. Then they cover it up the fact they the person was from a racist terror group.
Just like when those racist assassinated the police in the pizza place in vegas. They threw a swastika on the victims before getting killed in Walmart. The major networks left out the swastika part.
When people wave around the Gadsden flag that says “Don’t Tread On Me”….That is not a warning, that is a threat.
Today the government talks about “The Lone Wolf” Terrorist supporting ISIS, and we have to Stop them. Well how many more Gadsden Flag waving seditionist must attacked US Government agents, buildings, and citizens before they are also acknowledged as “Lone Wolf” Terrorist.
truthseeker2436577@yahoo.com November 18th, 2014 at 5:02 pm
That is a great point Brother.
The same ones talking about black people in the most vile fashion ignore the white terror that has existed in the Americas from Christopher Columbus to racist terrorist actions in our time.
Many networks will leave out the swastika. These white racist terrorists are nihilistic, evil, and they should be opposed as you have mentioned. I have seen many vehicles with the “Don’t Thread on Me” signs on them. We know what that means. These seditionists and terrorists have killed our black people, Jewish people, Sikhs, Arabic people, and others from across backgrounds. They have entered government buildings before and they are blatantly cowardly. That is why we should continue to voice the truth and expose these neo-Confederate, racist traitors.

THIS IS MY THING, IF THE COP IS GUILTY THEN HE SHOULDNT BE TREATED ANY DIFFERENT THAN A NORMAL PERSON, BUT DID ANYONE SEE WHAT HAPPENED WHEN RODNEY KING GOT ASSULTED??, RIOTS, NOT LEGAL, PEACEFUL RIOTS, PEOPLE BROKE INTO STORES, BEAT UP INNOCENT PEOPLE, THAT WAS NOT A PEACEFUL PROTEST BY NO MEANS AT ALL. SO I THINK SOME PEOPLE ARE USING THIS THREAT AS A WAY TO GAIN BY STEALING AND HURTING OTHER PEOPLE. IF IM WRONG THEN IM WRONG ,BUT THIS TIME I WOULD LOVE SOMEONE TO PROVE MY STATEMENTS WRONG.
greenguy November 19th, 2014 at 12:38 am
The problem is that when things happen, chaos ensues – I’ve watched a few of the livestream videos from people who were down there in Ferguson. What I saw was mostly peaceful protestors being led by Church leaders and such and a few chaos lovers trying to set the place on fire (so to speak).
All it takes is a few people acting bat-$#it crazy and the media takes it on as being the primary of the protests, saying that it was looters and such.
But the issue that has me the most concerned is that everyone seems to already know that this Grand Jury is not going to indite the officer who murdered Michael Brown – that the DA didn’t just indite the officer to give him his “day in court” like what officers seem to always tell us when we are charged with a crime. It’s legal trickery to make it look like justice has been served, when really they are protecting the officer from the system that they are supposed to be serving. It’s a way to keep the truth from coming out into the light.
Bobby Hill November 19th, 2014 at 8:05 pm
Your caps lock is broken.
Axekick November 24th, 2014 at 10:01 pm
A “normal person”(NORMAL PERSON) would be charged, incarcerated and face a trial. Darren Wilson was paid by the police department while on a leave of absence and scheduled for a grand jury hearing to see if a trial was warranted.
In a grand jury process the prosecutor controls 100 percent of what evidence is introduced to the jury. Hearsay is permissible and often used. There is no one to counter the evidence introduced so the grand jury functions as a rubber stamp for the prosecutor. Those well connected are commonly protected by the process, anyone else is subjected to being targeted by the grand jury process.
Comparing this incident to the Rodney King verdict is no more relevant than comparing it to the Emmett Till incident. Neither are relevant.
UnderCoverBrother December 11th, 2014 at 11:20 pm
No, a normal person would not necessarily be “charged, incarcerated and face trial…” The grand jury can hear as much evidence as it wants. In this case the prosecutor let the grand jury hear it all…or at least what was available. He even subpoenaed Wilson to testify to lock in Wilsons testimony if the grand jury returned an indictment. The grand jury, after considering all the available evidence, decided that there was no reason to try Wilson. That is the way the system works…It is not a matter of being well-connected or not.
Axekick December 12th, 2014 at 4:03 am
If you know of anyone who isn’t a politician or police officer and who has shot and killed someone other than on their property and had a grand jury determine if charges were warranted I will admit my error. Otherwise I stand by what I said, a normal person would have been charged, incarcerated and faced trial.
You obviously have no idea how a grand jury works. They cannot “hear as much evidence as they want,” they hear only what the prosecutor allows them to hear and as much of it as the prosecutor desires.
The grand jury, after being intentionally confused and overwhelmed with evidence decided there wasn’t enough evidence to warrant charges. This is not how the grand jury system works, not the criminal justice system.

When they asked Bob McCulloch if Michael Brown had shot Darren Wilson would he have sent it to a grand jury his response was “Hell No!”
UnderCoverBrother December 12th, 2014 at 3:19 pm
No idea how a grand jury works? Only 33 years practicing criminal law…10 as a prosecutor. I see by your HP link that you have a left-wing political agenda and have a reason to complain.
Axekick December 12th, 2014 at 3:47 pm
10 years as a prosecutor and you think a grand jury can hear as much evidence as it wishes? Hope if I ever get prosecuted, it’s by you.
