[su_right_ad]Maybe it would have been better if she ran as and acted like a Democrat. A  Magellan Strategies poll shows Bill Cassidy (R) with a commanding lead, 57% to 41%.

Despite her big lead among African Americans (88.8% Landrieu/7.2% Cassidy), African Americans have only represented 30 plus percent of the electorate twice in the past 14 years:2008 (30%) and 2012 (31%)…

The political environment will greatly limit Landrieu’s growth potential. Sixty two percent of voters disapprove of President Obama’s job performance, while 62% also believe that a Republican majority in the US Senate would best represent people like them…

Despite a 16 point Democrat registration advantage, 62% of the electorate thinks the Republican Party best represents their political
point of view.

So Democrats are voting Republican, partly because there is no real distinction between the two candidates.[su_csky_ad]

When you deny the twice elected President and spout the uneducated wild eyed rhetoric of the teabaggs you deserve to lose. Every Dem that proudly proclimed what and who they are won.

If Landrieu is losing so bad maybe she should try going hard left and see what happens. She might actually be able to turn things around and get people to the polls.

She’ll never do it, obviously. But more germane, no one would believe her if she did. She’d have as much cred as HRC saying she’ll get tough on banks, or Eric Holder saying he’d get tough on banks, or the President saying he’d get tough on banks.

Dems need to both talk like Dems, but they also gotta actually fight for Dem values – win, lose or draw.

I guess people down there are still angry over Obama’s slow response to Katrina back in 05.

She has been a spineless coward and deserves to lose her job. She might as well become a rethug.

Blue dogs are republicans, that’s why you can’t tell the parties apart. If we had some real democrats running there, more people would support the party.

They deserve to loose if they are campaigning as if they are Republicans. If African-Americans and Latinos wanted to vote for Republicans, they would register as Republicans. President Obama has accomplished great things for this country, but, instead of exhalting his accomplishments, the Democrats believed the GOP talking points, and abandoned their base, which are black and brown people.
That’s why Grimes lost. Hell, it’s why they all lost! African-Americans are Obama’s biggest supporters, so why in God’s name would you throw him under the bus, and then expect them to save your job? Unlike GOP voters, African-Americans are not stupid. You disrespect Obama, you disrespect them.

So, both the GOP and Democrats insulted Obama and African-Americans, and now these out of touch predominately white Democratic politicians are scratching their heads wondering why they got their asses kicked! Simple: they forgot who their base was. They campaigned as if their base were gun totten, RWNJ’s, when they are not. The GOP, NEVER forget who their base is, the Democrats do, and look what happens.

I predict she’ll lose badly in the next election. Democrats don’t like candidates who don’t represent them, and republican don’t like democrats, period. I think all her pandering to the republican base will backfire, big time, on her.

the ignorance of the usa voters will allow them to get what they deserve – it seems that there is nothing but a dollar party if one does not count Sanders.

If she’s toast anyway, can we back away from KXL, then? It’s not going to help her and it hurts us all.

I can see a supermajority from my house.

Actually, each side talks about ‘not left/right’ enough right after party-in-charge changes. I have a feeling maybe most people just don’t like the extremes, either way.
