KY Fire Chief To Black Family: ‘We Ain’t Takin’ No Ni**ers Here’
[su_center_ad]
Here’s another entry into the “Racism is Dead” file: a Kentucky fire chief is facing sharp criticism for the startling level of unabashed racism that he put on display after he refused to help a family of stranded motorists because they were Black, and then suggesting that an Asian-American reporter didn’t understand English. A Bullitt County…

So close to retirement to be throwing away that pension.
KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker November 21st, 2014 at 3:32 pm
Let’s hope he loses every penny of his pension.
It might not make up for all the young bigots he helped create during his racist life, but it’s a start.

not so sure I agree with that sentiment. without a pension he likely qualifies for federal assistance paid for in part by the tax dollars of n*gg*rs, f*gs, ch*nks and everyone else he hates. let the taxpayers of Kentucky support his racist a$$.. not me..

He seems nice.

Until the generation that was alive during the civil rights movement is gone, you will continue to have such outright bigotry. Even though not everyone participated in the lynchings, dogs, hoses, and firebombs, too many people had not thought it wrong enough to do anything about it. Those people are still very much alive and vocal enough to spread their hate.

Totally agree, the only problem is there’s a new generation of hatters and they have a stronger voice, yes I’m talking about FOX
rational_thinking_one November 21st, 2014 at 4:08 pm
I’m hoping that Fox dies out with the old geezers that are its majority of viewers. I have optimism that the younger generations are more open to change. I am from the deep south and I don’t see the younger folks as deep with hate as their elders.
Mike Butkus Jr. November 21st, 2014 at 4:05 pm
These people make me sick.
Republicans_are_Evil November 21st, 2014 at 4:09 pm
We really need to criminalize racism.
AmusedAmused November 21st, 2014 at 4:55 pm
Sorry, free speech. Although racist policies promulgated under the color of law and denying people equal protection should be severely punished.
Republicans_are_Evil November 21st, 2014 at 6:11 pm
Most racism can be considered inciting violence, which is already a crime.
AmusedAmused November 21st, 2014 at 6:52 pm
Statutes that criminalize solicitation or fighting words are narrowly drafted and narrowly construed. As vile as racism is, you really don’t want to live with a justice system where anything you say that someone doesn’t like gets you prosecuted for “incitement” on the theory that it might inspire someone to throw a punch. Conservatives will be the first to use that to silence political opposition.
Republicans_are_Evil November 21st, 2014 at 7:24 pm
We have to do something about them.
Jack E Raynbeau November 21st, 2014 at 9:32 pm
Just grin in amusement. They live in their own private hell.
AmusedAmused November 24th, 2014 at 10:58 am
You can. Exercise you First Amendment rights, and resist the temptation to erode them, no matter how much you dislike other people’s exercise of those rights.

Hatfield would lay his bigotry out again, this time when WDRB’s Valerie Chinn attempted to ask Hatfield about the financial management of the Bullitt Fire Department at a townhall meeting. In the video of the public meeting, Hatfield asked “do you understand English darling?”

speaking English and your race isn’t the only qualification with southern hillbillies. The list goes on and on
bhil November 21st, 2014 at 4:50 pm
Imagine speaking Kentucky english.
AmusedAmused November 21st, 2014 at 4:54 pm
Oh, come on you guys. That was clearly taken out of context, and I’m sure he’s sorry if anyone was offended. Also, it’s the liberals who promote hatred by reporting on what he said.
Republicans_are_Evil November 21st, 2014 at 6:12 pm
Are you being sarcastic? I really hope so.
AmusedAmused November 21st, 2014 at 6:52 pm
What do you think?
Republicans_are_Evil November 21st, 2014 at 7:23 pm
I read a lot of comments from right wingers that would say the same thing, word for word. Sarcasm does not come through the internet well at all.
MIAtheistGal November 21st, 2014 at 5:10 pm
The only slip of the tongue he made was that he made the comments outside of a Klan meeting.

All that I have to say about that fire chief is:
“BURN BABY BURN!”
