Iowa Man Arrested After Threatening To Blow Up The White House
After an Iowa man threatened to blow up the White House twice, police have arrested the 37-year-old Akron man.
[su_center_ad]Secret Service agents say Jeremy Herbert approached them on Wednesday afternoon.
Herbert called the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office Thursday afternoon and asked to speak with sheriff, according to KCCI.
Herbert was told he would have to leave a message for the sheriff. That’s when Herbert became “agitated” and told the dispatcher he was going to blow up the White House.
When Federal and local authorities went to Herbert’s home Thursday evening, investigators say he again threatened to blow up the White House and to kill the investigators.
Herbert was arrested and charged with one felony count of making a threat to use an explosive device. It’s not clear if any weapons were recovered from his home.
He is being held on a $5,000 cash bond.

This is the result of allowing these loons to get away with threatening murder and mayhem for years…Had the SS brought these wingnuts in for a serious sitdown from the get go,we would not be seeing this type of idiotic behavior… The gopee has a real responsibility for part of the problem by the leadership engaging in name calling and empty threats in order to garner a little air time…SHAME on them.
