Investigators told the TV station they had found the suspect’s vehicle, and the station tweeted that the gunman was “barricaded” in the town of Souderton, where two people were reportedly found dead.

Souderton School District issued a notice on its website that it’s schools were in lockdown.

“Due to police activity in Souderton and Harleysville, our schools have been placed in “Shelter in Place” as of 8:45 a.m. this morning. All students are safe and are secured in their classrooms.,” the notice said. “Visitors will not be allowed in the schools until further notice. More information will be provided to parents as soon as possible.”

In nearby Lansdale, dispatchers said a SWAT team responded at the scene. Officers searched nearby buildings, but after three hours, police drew back from the scene without announcing anything about the suspected gunman, nbcphiladelphia.com reported.[su_csky_ad]

You really have it bad for Miami, the place is not as you perceive it to be.

I’m not the only one who perceives Miami that way. People are moving north to Ft Lauderdale and into Palm Beach. BTW…it was recently voted THE worst city in the country for quality of life…

A far worse tragedy than in Sydney, but we are so damned desensitized to this kind of horror that we just gloss over it. But guns aren’t the problem. The country that has so many idiots who welcome gun violence is the problem.

Great another entrant for the NRA shooter of the month award… But you only have to shoot one person…multiples don’t give you extra credit
