GOP Pol Claims Twitter Hack After Account Found To Be Following Porn Star
[su_right_ad]Suffolk, NY County Executive Steve Ballone says his Twitter account must have been hacked. It was discovered that the account was following Belle Knox aka Miriam Weeks, the Duke University student who made headlines earlier in the year for working in the porn industry to pay her way through school. Ballone claims the account is operated by his staff.
Bellone, a married father of three who is up for re-election next year, insisted he has no idea how his account came to be linked to Knox.
“County Executive Bellone’s Twitter account, which is operated by his staff, has been hacked and an obscene Twitter account was subsequently followed,” said his spokeswoman, Vanessa Baird-Streeter.
“A formal complaint has been filed with Twitter and to the third-party software used to assist in managing the account. His staff has instituted stricter security protocols to ensure an incident like this does not happen in the future.”
The referrals were made after The Post asked his account on Thursday.
The Bellone aide also said that “law-enforcement authorities have been notified and the Suffolk County Police Department is currently investigating.”[su_csky_ad]

Of COURSE it was hacked. It could happen.
I remember hearing a story once about a senator who said he was arrested in an airport restroom for soliciting a cop for sex, but in reality, he merely has a problem with a “wide stance”. I know he was telling the truth because when confronted by reporters, he told them, “I am not gay. I have never been gay. I love my wife”. He’s obviously as straight as an arrow.

HA ha ha LMAO – they hacked his account and all they did was follow a porn star – yeah right pal – you are soooooooo busted! Actually i checked his Twitter account he also follows Rep Peter King – now THAT i find really offensive.

It probably wasn’t hacked,…but how do you find who someone follows on twitter? I’m a twitter novice. Do I need to be careful who I follow? I’m following some very vulgar humorist. If I follow the KKK (to see what they’re thinking), mightn’t that be used against me?
It’s fun when it happens to a GOPer, but what if were a liberal? Shouldn’t it be more private, like your internet history.

Then we read more and it seems when the buck gets to Ballone’s desk, it does a U-turn.
I’d bet a week’s pay that, behind his back, the staff refer to him as “Oneball.”
