Cop Suspended After Video Surfaces Of Him Punching Suspect Who Was Face Down On Pavment
You can hear onlookers yelling “Why are you punching him?” and “You’re punching him for no reason.” Officer Tyrone Pugh didn’t seem to care.
According to The State, the video…was shot outside the Columbia Soundstage, a concert venue, and shows Officer Pugh kneeling on an unidentified man and striking him at least five times after 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook said that Officer Pugh has been suspended without pay during internal and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division investigations.[su_center_ad]

Suspended with out pay. With out pay. Usually cops are suspended with pay. It ain’t much progress, but I guess we gotta take every little bit we can.

well, duh. he had to shoot him in oder to get paid. then it would have been called “paid admin. leave.” you only get suspended if the victim survives and can tell his account.
