It’s obvious from the video that this officer had no idea how to handle someone in a wheelchair. Had he not been in a wheelchair, he would have been immediately slammed to the ground and thoroughly beaten. Police training does not yet include how to do this with wheelchair-bound insurgentsperps citizens. The department is working to correct this.

this isn’t the first time a cop did this. one actually succeeded in pushing a man to the ground while in his chair, for the same stupid reason.
