Report: Prince Charles Trashed His Sons, Princess Diane, To Burnish His Own Image

A BBC documentary says a Charles aide spearheaded a brutal media operation that exploited Prince Harry’s drug problems and leaked personal information about Prince William, the Daily Beast reported.
It was not clear whether Charles had direct involvement in the scandal, detailed in the documentary “Reinventing the Royals,” which aired on the BBC Thursday.
Charles’ alleged henchman, Mark Bolland, employed a scorched-earth campaign to manipulate the press and turn his beleaguered boss into a sympathetic public figure.
