Hagee: Stopping Gay Marriage ‘A Matter Of Survival’

Matthew Hagee, son of fire and brimstone pastor John Hagee, continues dire warnings via his “Hagee Hotline”. If gays get married, that means people can’t reproduce, and civilization will end. Of course, for this to happen we’d have to all be gay and not reproduce. But enough with reason.
Apparently convinced that this is a compelling and intelligent argument, Hagee repeated it on yesterday’s program, declaring that it is an “economical fact” that America needs more people and so allowing gay marriage will inevitably lead to the total collapse of society.
“It is impossible for same-sex marriage to do what biblical marriage does: create children,” Hagee said. “Without the procreation of children, the American society economically, will fail; culturally, will fail. It is not a matter of right or privilege, it’s a matter of survival.”

well we certainly don’t have enough people on the planet yet. We actually still have a few resources left and a few species that aren’t going extinct. We need to encourage MORE reproduction to solve these problems /snark

Ease up on the Hagee dynasty; accept it as a familial model for our obedient and grateful children to emulate. Besides, if gays did reproduce, imagine a country of above-average, tasteful, and intelligent people here. Is that what you want?
