Chris Christie Goes Into Profane Rant

The New Jersey governor thrilled a compliant crowd going after the press in an expletive-filled rant.
Christie gave an expletive-laced speech at an annual New Jersey media roast Wednesday, taking aim at reporters who had mocked him for the George Washington Bridge scandal, his travels and the state’s finances.
“We don’t give a s— about this or any of you,” Christie, a 52-year-old Republican who is considering a run for president, said to laughter and applause from about 350 people at a Hamilton banquet hall. He told one journalist to “open your eyes” and “clean the s— out of your ears.”
“This is a guy who says he doesn’t know what I’m doing every day,” Christie said of the New Jersey Legislative Correspondents Club president. “Then just get the f— away from me then if you don’t know what I’m doing.”

I know it’s supposed to be a “roast” type of environment that’s all of the record, but honestly… I would expect better from a presidential candidate.
Especially with his comment referring to an accident one of the reporters was in on the way there, asking why the car wasn’t bigger and why weren’t there more press in the car.

While I am no fan of Christ Christie, I have heard a lot worse “profane rants” from grade school children. I mean, the guy said a couple of vulgar words, but you hear a lot worse than that in any bar anywhere in the country on any given night.

Well, I like this. The one thing about Chris I do like is he is genuine and real. He is not a phony. I certainly wouldn’t support him for president but hey it was George McGovern, whom I didn’t support either, who told a vile, jeering, insulting person at one of his rallys, “kiss my ass.” Good for George. Good for Chris.

Yeah, he’d be a great president especially when under the role of Cmdr. in Chief he’d be under a fair amount of pressure.
