Rahim, who was fatally shot after waving a military knife at law enforcement officers, was originally plotting to behead Pamela Geller, an activist and conservative blogger, law enforcement sources told CNN on Wednesday.
But Rahim, a 26-year-old security guard who officials believe was radicalized by ISIS and other extremists, decided instead to target the “boys in blue,” a reference to police, according to court documents. “I can’t wait that long,” he said of the original beheading plan, according to an FBI affidavit filed in federal court in Boston on Wednesday…
Rahim’s associate, David Wright, 25, appeared in U.S. District Court in Boston Wednesday to face a charge of obstructing a federal investigation by destroying electronic evidence on Rahim’s smartphone. A detention hearing was scheduled for June 19 after prosecutors said he was a flight risk.
Wright allegedly attempted to destroy co-conspirator Rahim’s cell phone and conceal evidence of their plans, according to the documents. Wright faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison if convicted.
Rahim purchased three military fighting knives with blades longer than 8 inches on Amazon.com, the court documents said.

No matter how you feel about Geller and her “contest,” there are two less terrorists and the worse thing that happened was a “security guard” was injured, and thankfully will recover.
The “Draw Muahamaad” offense pales in comparison to the murder and mayhem these two IS terrorist wannabes were intent on. However, I would not recommend a repeat.
But look, today is too late, in YouTube time. I’ve read there’s already a “contest” copy-cat in Phoenix who seems to make Geller’s Islamophobia appear mild. That’s if it’s even real and not just part of a crazy-cynical get-rich scheme. What is real, are troubling images like the one below: what are we to make of it all? And it’s not even Summer yet!

If those losers had been serious about terrorizing the West and had any kind of imagination, they would have targeted a bigger affront to the superstition known to Islam – say, someone like Sepp Blatter.

I don’t wish beheading on anybody, but there would be an obvious poetic justice to it. Except for the fact that it would turn her into a martyr for her rabid and rancid followers.
