So the rate of “accidental” (let’s call them unintentional) shootings is not as high as the media attention makes it seem. Isn’t one a year too many? And there are a lot more than one. Someone should do the research to find out how many women who carry guns in their purses get a chance to actually use them in self defense, versus the number of innocent victims who are unintentionally shot.
