Spokane Mayor Asks Dolezal To Resign From Commission For Creating ‘Intimidating And Harassing Workplace’

Spokane’s mayor and city council president have asked Rachel Dorezal to resign from a police commission.
“We have a responsibilty for all 2,000 employes of the city of Spokane and to put them in a situaion where a volunteer board is creating an intimidating and harassing workplace is horrific,” City Council President Ben Stuckart told reporters.
“I also think of think of the last finding of the last page – that Commissioner Dolezal breached information that was confidential,” he said.
“This is the police ombudsman commission and complaints need to be kept confidential,” he said. “To break confidentiality is flat out wrong…
“We are deeply disturbed by the facts contained in the report of findings from the independent investigator,” Spokane Mayor David Condon and Stuckart said in a joint statement released earlier in the day.
“The conduct is unacceptable and falls far short of the community’s expectations of volunteers who sit on City boards and commissions,” the statement said.

This woman gets on my nerves.
It’s confusing enough that someone is basically trying to claim they were born as the wrong race, but that’s not what makes me pissed at her.
It’s all the lying and questionable behavior.
Even though she apparently did a lot of good, she also seems to have been involved in a lot of crap.
Just the point of her claiming an unrelated black man was her father is enough for me to question her integrity.
I’m fine with other races joining the NAACP in leadership roles.
I’m fine with someone identifying more with a racial culture besides their own.
I’m NOT fine with someone who lies as a habit and, according to this story, was also problematic in the workplace.
She’s messing up the whole conversation by being a douchebag.

read my post. yes. she gets on my nerves. but, i’ll be damned if the mayor calls her out and not the police officers that are worse. she has some serious delusions going on and needs some serious help. she pi$$es me off with her lies about her family. but for this mayor to jab at her as if she is the worse of the worse will not go well with me.

I’m really not sure how to respond to the allegations, since Iv’e only heard about conduct that was unacceptable, without any details of what that conduct was.
But, if he’s calling her out with a righteous vehemence while letting douche-cops walk without condemnation, then yeah… the mayor is a hindrance and needs to be replaced.

ok, now, anyone who wants to jump on me, go for it. but, i’m starting to feel bad for her. was she wrong? hell yes. does she have issues? no damn doubt. but the fact that the mayor is jumping on her as if she’s worse than the conduct he knows police officers are having and as if the community doesn’t expect more from them is quite disturbing. the tax payers, pay his and the police officers’ salary and they are going rogue, this woman went off the mark no doubt, but she doesn’t have the authority or power over the community like police officers who the community expect to be honest and understanding and etc., etc. she’s one person who has some serious issues, but the police departments all over this country has a host of officers with, stupid psych, issues.
