To Bristol Palin: Stop Fighting Imagined Demons If You Want Your Privacy

You can’t keep asking to be left alone and protest that you don’t have privacy if you keep living your life out in public and picking fights.
Palin attracted widespread attention last Thursday when she announced on her blog that she was expecting a second child. Though Palin previously said she did not want to hear any “lectures” from her critics, she received plenty of them, and fired back at her haters with a new post on Sunday.
“I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy assholes have loved to assume,” Palin said, expressing her desire for a large family. “I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two.”
Palin went on to say that she knew that her announcement would receive negative attention, both because of her family’s political beliefs, and for her work as an abstinence spokesperson with a teen pregnancy prevention non-profit.
“When I realized I was pregnant, I knew I would be completely crucified. But I never even thought of aborting this child,” Palin wrote. “Sorry to the ghouls at Gawker, who said this baby is an argument FOR abortion. Not happening.”
