Trump Sues Univision

He’s suing for half a billion dollars.
Trump has officially filed a $500 million lawsuit against Univision for cutting their ties to the Miss Universe Organization following his comments about Mexican immigrant rapists.
Univision entered into a partnership with Trump and NBC earlier this year to broadcast the pageants, but backed out after Trump’s remarks in his presidential campaign announcement speech. Trump threatenedto sue Univision for breach of contract.
A press release today about the lawsuit says Univision’s decision was “a politically motivated attempt to suppress Mr. Trump’s freedom of speech under the First Amendment as he begins to campaign for the nation’s presidency.”
