Lafayette Gunman Bought Gun Legally

The liberal-hating, anti-Semitic, feminist-hating gunman who mowed people down in a movie theater bought his gun legally last year at a pawn shop in Phenix City, AL.
Houser’s arrest record, according to Phenix City police, lists incidents of alleged theft in 2011 and domestic violence in 2007…
“He was pretty even-keeled until you disagreed with him or made him mad,” said Jeff Hardin, mayor of Phenix City, who described the gunman.”Then he became your sworn enemy.”
…After advocating violence against abortion providers, Houser took innocent lives.
Authorities spokke to Houser’s family since the shooting and said that ” his mom had loaned him some money, he was going to get his life together.”
So, why should it be legal for someone with a history of domestic violence to have a gun? Either that, or better background checks are needed.
