Sanctuary Cities For Anti-Gay Christians?

That’s what some Christian activists want.
Mat Staver, founder of the Liberty Counsel (Christian activist law firm), appeared on VCY America’s “Crosstalk” radio program last Thursday and urged government officials to ignore the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on gay marriage, notes RightWingWatch.org.
Staver said there was resistance in Kentucky, Texas and Alabama against the gay marriage ruling.
“And you know what, if some cities can create sanctuary cities for illegal aliens, why can’t a city or a state create a sanctuary city or a state to protect the pre-born?” Stated stated.
“Crosstalk” host Jim Schneider added, “Yeah, yeah, and to protect marriage.”
“And to protect marriage, absolutely,” Staver agreed.
Conservative Christian activist Gary Bauer echoed the same theme in a recent op-ed that he wrote for the American Thinker.
