[su_publirb]Things turned ugly late last night in Ferguson, Missouri, on the first anniversary of the killing of Michael Brown:[A] gunman who opened fire on four plainclothes officers in an SUV suffered the most serious reported injury so far.

Police officers respond to shots fired during a protest march on August 9, 2015 on West Florissant Avenue in Ferguson, Missouri.

“There is a small group of people out there that are intent on making sure that we don’t have peace that prevails,” he said.

Tyrone Harris told a reporter from the St. Louis Post Dispatch that his son, 18-year-old Tyrone Harris Jr., was the wounded suspect. Harris went to Normandy High School with Michael Brown and the pair “were real close,” his father said.
