Huck Won’t Support Religious Freedom For Muslim Flight Attendant

It’s one thing when a Christian clerk wants “religious freedom” to deny gay marriage, but when a Muslim flight attendant wants freedom to not serve alcohol, that’s a different story, as Anomaly writes at FreakOutNation.
…things got sticky when CNN’s Alisyn Camerota asked Huck about the case of Charee Stanley, a Muslim flight attendant who refused to serve alcohol during an Express Jet flight, who is now fighting to get her job back.
Stanley, who converted to the Islam faith two years ago, said it violated her religious beliefs.
Huckabee responded by saying, “Historically we have made accommodations for people with religious convictions.”
We saw this coming.
“You’ve seen it in Michigan where they spent $25,000 providing foot baths for Muslims students,” he said, adding that the U.S. gave prayer mats to prisoners at the Guantanamo Bay prison, according to Talking Points Memo.
Once again Camerota asked Huckabee if he supports Stanley’s refusal to serve alcohol, to which he responded, “I think people try to make accommodations wherever they can.”
“Sometimes maybe it can’t be done, but in this case there was no attempt to make an accommodation to Kim Davis,” he added.
We await the rallies featuring Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz in support of the Muslim flight attendant who refuses to do her job — just like Kim Davis. We await the ‘Charee Stanley for President’ signs, and the chants of persecution.
