Donald Trump mocked Carly Fiorina’s looks in a Rolling Stone interview.

“Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?” Trump reportedly bellowed while watching his Republican presidential rival on the news. “I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not s’posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”

Fiorina responded to Trump’s remarks late Wednesday on “The Kelly File” on Fox News, saying that “Maybe I’m getting under his skin a little bit because I am climbing in the polls.”

She added that the comments “speak for themselves.”

This may not end Donald Trump’s candidacy, but it should. In a country full of decent people, this would not enable someone to rise in the polls. In a country of decent people, this would sink anyone seeking the office of the presidency. When do Republicans say they’ve had enough of this clown? When do even the white nativists who’ve propelled his candidacy have enough brain cells to realize that someone with this mindset is an embarrassment.  Now would not be too soon.
