Republican Congressman Compares Fighting Planned Parenthood To Combating Slavery

Arizona Congressman Trent Franks believes fighting Planned Parenthood is like battling slavery.
Franks was on MSNBC talking about the hearing on Capitol Hill today in which Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards got a grilling from Republicans about those controversial videos of individuals talking about harvesting fetal tissue.
“It was the same argument,” he explained. “Those that were for slavery said, ‘Well, there’s not really a personhood here, there’s no person involved here.’ The Supreme Court said the same thing, just like they did in Roe v. Wade.”
